I LOVE THIS. The way the story was a mystery in the beginning but slowly opened up. Beautiful.

So wonderful! I remember being asked to teach a lesson for my high school youth group and being terrified the night before because i had no clue what to talk about. I had been praying and reading all week and I still had nothing. Finally, I happened to open up to this story, and I saw it with a fresh pair of eyes. It was suddenly no longer a coloring page out of a Sunday school class. It was a testament to the amazing power of God to take our little broken things and use them for a huge impact. Truly one of your best poems, keep it up! :)

I was smiling the entire time. The humor edge and beautiful visualization of the power of Jesus Christ gave me chills. I love how you bring to life the Word. We often take for granted what is written, but we need to realize is that they aren't cute little stories.... They are the power of the Father, through the Son. They are the Love of the Creator. They mean everything.

Just pure faith is all it takes. That boy had faith that God could perform something wonderful. He gave all he had and it fed thousands. Jesus saw the potential in him. That's what I admire about the Anima Series. They always create something beautiful.

Little drummer boy: Bruh, you talking bou' me? You don't even know how I played: I played 'pa rum pum pum pum' not 'ratta tat tat' (lol, jk) Okay guys, it's official! I'm in love with Jon Jorgenson; I'm in love with The Anima Series. I love how, for once, this story is told from that little boy's POV. I mean, he was right there, witnessing a miracle right in front of him! He released what little he had, and he got in return a life changing reward- the privilege of being used by God. Look, you don't have to have plenty; you don't have to have it all together, before you make yourself instrumental in God's hand; all you have to have is SUBMISSION- just release.

Well done. I had an idea for a series of videos. These videos would feature well known Bible stories told in the first person. I like the way you did this. I cant do spoken word so my first was An Interview With The Prodigal Son. I would love to hear you do one on him. Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Great stuff yall! Keep up the good work! John 6:1-14 Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand 6 Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), 2 and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. 3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. 4 The Jewish Passover Festival was near. 5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. 7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages[a] to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!” 8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” 10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. 12 When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 13 So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. 14 After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Jon is telling the story of when Jesus feeds 5,000 from the perspective of the little boy that gave him the fish and bread.
