♥ Reflection: on reflection from doing this giant video, I have learnt a lot about how wedding videos differ from my other videos and how incorporating my style into a wedding video needs a lot more forward planning! haha. I can see so many ways I would have filmed things differently and would love to get an opportunity to video a big event again. But this time I wouldn't want to also be part of the ceremony/event and have to film, and I'd also hold back from wearing heels and drinking whiskey haha. I'm so glad I brought flat sandals to Lynford Hall, because as soon as the official group photos were done, I went to my room and changed into them! Heels and camera don't mix, especially when you don't have a gimbal. Haha! Also, as I mentioned, I would plan ahead more if I were to do another similar video and on that same thread I would be looking at creating a much shorter video. It was just for this one... It was my sister and Eddie's big day; I just had to film anything and it was so hard to to put it all in (as I didn't preplan my shots so I could have condensed 30 clips into just 5). I am very negative of myself with a lot of work that I produce but I have found the learning from mistakes and the growth so fun with videoing so far. I haven't let the fact that I can look back at videos and think how certain parts are just wrong now I have more knowledge, eat me up and put me down. I've looked back and seen errors and thought "Ooh, I know how to do better next time" and I've gotten excited about doing it again and trying something new.... So here's to the first of more event videos in the future hopefully.
