So some of you might not actually want to watch this; it's long, I ramble a lot, and it's very badly put together thanks to a corrupt SD card, iMovie on my old laptop ceasing to work, new software not being very user-friendly, a complicated speak and microphone and screen recording set up... It's basically not a very good video (I will post something nicer and more my usual content straight after this to compensate for how bad this is haha).
Essentially I got to a point of wanting to give up on this video multiple times and so completing it became more about finishing something I started and closing a chapter on my video editing life (as I now have a new computer and fully functional software and good processing power etc)
If you miraculously survive watching this video and wonder want I am referring to when I talk about other videos and things here is a little list
1) Jonna Jinton's Ice sound music video on which I commented:
• Song of the Ice - 1 h...
2) That psychology video about those really cool words for emotions:
• 12 Emotions You Might ...
3) And that Netflix programme is called 'Sex explained' and it was episode 3 about birth control.
In all, I am incredible grateful to those who liked and commented on my comment, and although my little reaction video is a bit awkward at times and I was loud and I kept saying 'I get that' too much, I really was touched by people's comments and I am so grateful that people interacted with me and that people connected with what I said. I was particular touched by those complimenting my writing skills as this is actually quite a dear topic to me.
If I missed any comments, it may be due to the corrupt SD card, me making a dyslexic mistake and just missing it, or you commented after I videoed this in May haha.
If any of you are interested I do have a Wattpad where I reflect and write a lot. But you need an account to view it I think, so for those without Wattpads I have a blog I revived recently and I have posted some highlights on there.
All these things plus other random things can be found here: linktr.ee/lady...
I welcome comments and questions on anything I said. You can comment here or if you want to keep it private message me on Instagram (or my facebook page but I check that less regularly).
I will also just quickly put in a DISCLAIMER... I'm not a medical professional giving advice on the pill at any point in this video, I was just sharing my opinion based on experience and stories I've been told. Please see your doctor or ring a family planning clinic to discuss contraceptive issues (I highly recommend talking the the family planning clinics as, from my experience, they will give you lots more details about the different types and potential side effects)
Thank you for watching!
Lots of lovely love,
Lilian ♥

I'm happily surprised to see you making an reply video about your comment and I'm really touched that you also read mine. Even after all this time, I can remember your comment. I could feel your energy. Somehow I think this is the connection I'm seeking for, actually seeing the people that might be anywhere, total strangers, that touch my feelings with words. People that might be actually sensitive to life like me. I can see that you're very passionate with writing and expressing feelings, like me. With you I would like to have a long chat on a summer night. It's good to know that we have people like you! Your personality and writing is golden! Don't loose that ever, do what makes you happy! Connecting to people. Thank you for this video, even if not many people will see it, I appreciate it!

I always "hide" behind making songs on youtube to express what i think because i still don't feel comfortable talking about my self on camera, but your video encourages me to freely say more what's on my mind and it surely encourages many others to do so!

Well done Lily! I'm an old fart now. My daughter is right around your age, and I have heard and felt similar words from Kathryn. You are important. Your are incredibly beautiful. I left a comment on your Jonna post. Sending you love and light from Canada and my best wishes for contentment in your heart and smiles in your soul. - Mark

Dear Lilian, Wow! I am proud of you for making this video and picking up all the pieces. I am very bad at following through with my projects, so I have the highest respect for you right now!!! After having read the whole comment a while ago and having replied and now having listened to you in this video (you are stunningly beautiful by the way, a beautiful natural woman💚) I don't even know where to begin because I could probably reply to almost everything you said ☺️ It stands out to me that often extremely beautiful, shining people with a great smile are the ones struggling with or hiding depression behind their beautiful face. It may sound like I am complimenting myself 🙈 but when I started becoming more open about my own depression, people were always surprised and shocked because I was always wearing a bright smile and tried to shine for others. There is this song that I love and it goes "people of the heavens on the earth you find no peace" and this line meets my impression that often very sensitive and kind souls struggle with this kind of darkness. But honestly for myself I can say that I am trying to prove this song wrong and find all the peace, it's kind of my mission to cultivate as much peace and as much love in myself as possible. Sorry for going so off topic here... Also I was really glad that you said at the end finding these comments so late all at once must have a bigger reason, because I totally felt that. I wanted to write that it happens to me aswell, that I don't get any notifications, but wanted to share the thought that it might be "right" or having a reason that you can't yet see, because in my experience that is mostly the case, we just find out waay later why it had to be like this. But I thought you might not like this idea or find it too esoterical, so I am glad ☺️🙏 Ok, there is so much more that I could write, but I think it's great that you are working on accepting yourself and want to work on your relationship with yourself, listening to your body for example is a big one 💖 I have a few tips that I would love to share with you regarding this whole mindfulness-journey, but this comment is already so long, that I will write a second one 😉

...so first I would love to recommend a KZbin video: it's called "How to love yourself" and it's a part of a q&a with the buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh. It is a great starting point and might bring you some calm and reconnect with yourself. Overall if you are interested in meditation and nourishing peace or mindfulness, I cannot emphasize enough how helpful I find Thich Nhat Hanh's books. "How to sit" is the simplest instruction manual possible and it's part of the "How to..." -series of tiny books that fit in any handbag "How to love" is probably my favorite. You don't have to be a buddhist to learn from this wise person. His words are very simple and easy to understand, yet very impactful. If you want to learn more about his life and where he gets his teachings from, I recommend the autobiography "my life is my teaching", it is a pleasure to read and has tiny chapters with important moments of his journey, it's again easy to read and also very heartwarming and encouraging. Then I wanted to recommend the videos by Caro Arevalo especially the ones about connecting with her body. Also on Instagram I follow a few wisely chosen accounts revolving around a positive relationship with yourself. For example I am learning a bit about astrology (@spiritdaughter) and I love to read about the moon cicle two or three times a week, I also follow one psycholigist from Austria who creates posts with very deep understanding and empathy and another german account which shares positive posts about women, menstruation, self-love.... I feel connected to those and stay at the non-superficial side of Instagram. If you ever want to contact me there, please do 😌 My full name ist Badia Freywald and my IG @melenkawentbacktothegarden I see you and support you 💕

Hey beautiful, just want to update you that as of today (15/10/2020) - you have over 400 likes and 40 plus comments to your comment on Jonna's video. Hope this makes you smile :) Just writing to you here and hope that you are doing well. Always remember that you are beautiful, you are very talented, you have such a beautiful soul. Never be too hard on yourself. If a negative comment just pops up in your head, always tell yourself - what would you tell your friend if they told you that they are stupid/ugly/useless? I am sure you will tell them that they are wrong. You see, we are very good at critising ourselves but when it comes to another person, we have so much compassion on them. So please, I just want you to be compassionate and kind to yourself always. Take one day at a time. Take deep breaths and this too shall pass :) Sending you lots of love and hugs! Stay awesome and always be yourself. Cheers xxx
