Did ASA not have any rules as to what kind of engines you can use? I am hearing a wide variety of sounds in this field

Both v6 and v8’s ran together. The V6got a weight break and was quite successful. The V6 was thought to be the engine of the future.

@@billp5656 They were also allowed to run some pretty wild 180 degree headers that filled the passenger side of the car up. ASA cars were built to much more liberal rules than NASCAR.
