3:50 Am I the only one who finds it satisfying to watch lava fill up holes and cracks?
@Willow76ny4 жыл бұрын
It’s fascinating to watch the lava seemingly defy the laws of nature and do what it wants.
@AmyraCarter6 жыл бұрын
Snap, Crackle, Pop, Volcano! (hey, it even rhymes in syllables! lol) But seriously, my mind drifted when I saw the various shots of the magma piling up, drifting to the sights of candy shops, pouring their butter or caramel... Aaah...that makes me even more hungry. lol

I just love lava when it cools but the glow shows through cracks and crevices. so cool
@lavapix8 жыл бұрын
+shaolinwisdom Walking over it with the glowing cracks is mesmerizing too. Thanks for watching...

I always wondered what would happen if you took a massive piece of ice like from a glacier or something and just chucked it int a volcano. And when I say massive I mean fly it in on a couple dozen helicopers and just drop it in there. Thousands of years old so its super thick and still super cold. I need to become a billionare so I can find out these things.
@lavapix10 жыл бұрын
Or become Superman. That would be interesting. I guess something like that goes on in Iceland when volcanoes erupt beneath glaciers. Massive flooding and mud flows.
@kansasthunderman110 жыл бұрын
If a very large volume of water suddenly pours into a volcano, the result is a huge explosion like the one at Krakatoa. That blast was the largest non-nuclear explosion and the barometric pressure wave was recorded throughout the world.
@KingreX3210 жыл бұрын
sounds.............destructive. My inner supervillian is pleased.
@charleskuhns859810 жыл бұрын
the volcano would probably explod xD
@grantsdaman0110 жыл бұрын
After a massive explosion settles, the pressure would still be there, so everything you cooled would just heat up again over time.

This looks pretty hot it's probably hot enough to cook a normal egg but do you think it's hot enough to cook a bigger egg though like a duck egg or even an ostrich egg?
@lavapix10 жыл бұрын
Hot enough to cook anything.
@CubejamF110 жыл бұрын
Mate, it's molten rock. It's literal rock so hot it has turned molten, a liquid state. It could cook anything.
@jonilpchannel9 жыл бұрын
Cubejam thermit is better for cooking ;)
@PremierMilenkov9 жыл бұрын
joni lp For vaporising your food, maybe. Thermite burns way too hot, and the reaction is too violent and short-lived to do any cooking. You could probably comfortably cook a couple sausages and steaks over a smaller lava vent, if you can get close enough, not sure whether the food might absorb any toxic gases though :/
@sardu559 жыл бұрын
Just think of all the damage fracking is doing to the eons of time it took the form the rocks, etc, all going back to the original molten period and forming the planet.

Depends on where it is. When its in the park and easy to reach, there can be 1000's of people walking up to it a day/night.

Have you ever burned yourself while filming?
@lavapix10 жыл бұрын
An occasional flash burn like a sudden bad sunburn that goes away pretty quickly. Considering how long I've been doing this, its very rare.

That is what I was wondering :). I wish you only the best luck in future takes! Never let your guard down - and a great thank you for those really accurate shots.
