yep, there's some weird mechanics, usually the limit cap is 3 but a cactus can generate on top of another cactus, it can get so extreme you can get to 23 blocks, on 1.14 seed 184693195438010998, coords 16274576 64 10230656

1:09:55 imo probably good to do monuments along side with bastions. Like depending on the rates of monuments you go by are. Like sure you could go to bastions but you don’t really do anything alongside it other than netherite stuff from treasure and loadstone from bridge, like you do a lot more in the overworld so I feel like there’s just more flexibility with monuments - not that my opinion means much.

The “Smithing with Style” advancement doesn’t require ALL trims, it requires only 8 specific ones (spire, snout, rib, ward, silence, vex, tide, wayfinder). The “Eye” trim (which is found in Strongholds) isn’t needed.
