My husband loved this concert. He’d ask me to play it over and over again. The Mavericks were a huge blessing in his life, because for him, music was a part of his life 24/7/365! Right up to his last breath on July 3, of this year. God bless this band. It would be nice to know they received this message. I have listened to so much Maverick's music. I notice when a drummer is changed. Paul has a strength, a recognizable sound. Offcourse not every musician can be present at every show.Replacement musicians are great We just listen to much more than we should maybe. Good to see the original lineup. Certainly the lineup im aware of and love.See what i mean? That strength in drums is unmistakable. ♥️☘♥️ Did i mention Raul is one of the most beautiful mens i have ever seen, on screen. ♥️

Watching the live shows makes me so happy and I was ecstatic when you toured Canada again in 2022. .You guys were wonderful in Vancouver but somehow I think you really LOVE playing Knuckleheads. It comes across and is such a pleasure to watch and hear. They were a very lucky audience!

Next Tear Drop, a magnificent delivery of a song that many artists failed to deliver in tune and rhythm, The Maverick, delivered this song in perfect harmony and music orchestration that was perfectly timed.Loved it. the next song is very new to my ears, trying to locate the title Probably ''I should Have'' A beautiful song , exceptional lyrics, music that blends beautifully. He is so very well liked and confident in his voice. He is one of the worlds best.

@@AniMerci Thanks. Without Raúl on rhythm guitar and Ed on bass, the sound of the band for this performance seemed perhaps a little thin. Everything else is primo, as usual.

Ed did an interview with For Bass Players Only a couple of months ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWnddaqdiZdkh6s After living in Austin for a good number of years, he currently resides in Tucson. I believe Raúl (and maybe other band members?) lives in Nashville. Am guessing Ed is in his 60s, and I know he writes books, lectures, and teaches. Can understand why he may not want to be on the road after eight years with The Mavericks.
