5/3/24: HURRICANE SEASON to Start Early

While the official start of Atlantic hurricane season is 4 weeks away, we are going to need to be on our toes for an early season storm before the end of May. This video breaks down the current state of the tropics, and where and when storms could form.
Other extremes in the U.S. are expected, with multiple rounds of severe weather expanding northeast, winter weather in the West, and an early season heat wave in the South. This video outlines those extremes.

Hi Josh, dont worry, you did fantastic! If I were to read all that hard stuff, I would really make a total mess pf things. I really appreciate both your weather and your ministry. I am already born again, but I am struggling with being all alone. My whole family has turned their backs on me for being a Christian. Also, people in my town in Mississippi find me different as I am not married and do not have children or family, so no one wants to be my friend. I worry about hurricanes here in Hattiesburg because I am from California and do not know how to prepare and what to do. All I have in my life is an ex husband who lives in Florida, but he is so abusive verbally and psychologically. I honestly keep him around on the phone etc because I have no one else to talk to. I wish God would send me someone nice and who is living for Jesus. I wish I had family. If you have the time, or inclination, please pray for me. Hey my name is Jennifer we have ALOT in common. My family disowned me due to them being a Jehovah’s Witness. They even took my 2nd child and my mom still sends letters to my 18 yr old son telling him how bad of a mom I am due to not being in there cult. I also have been abused by my x husband. (He even did a drive by on my home with our son there). I then got divorced and got with another abusive man I almost married he even Broke my neck!! ANYWAY I live in Florida and I have been thro many hurricanes and I can tell you it’s a lot of work but being prepared is what has saved me so many times. Here in Florida they have pamphlets at pharmacy’s, banks I got mine at Publix. Idk if maybe they do were you live but you could check. I just wanted you to know you’re not alone. There are many women out here that feel your pain. Maybe we could chat somehow maybe messenger. Idk I just wanted to tell you that. I have bipolar so I’m extra sad. lol Don’t give up I love ya sweetheart!! (Also a Christian) I will say you gotta love yourself FIRST!! Hope you’re having a good day. Stay safe!! 🩷🙏🏽🩷

It depends on how the season will be it can all chance it could be more than 23 name storms depending on how warm the ocean and the gulf will be this season weather is very hard to predict so we will just half to wait and see how the season will shape out to be.

Looks like with all the major hurricanes that it would stir the water up enough to cool it down , maybe being cloudy has mor of an effect , I should know being on the NC coast myself but I don't . If we get clobbered here so be it . We don't have oil refineries and things that effect the whole country

One thing that needs to be highlighted is all of the deep water heat content and what hurricane Otis did last year in Mexico. It pains me to see lives lost to storm surge because people have that "it won't happen to me" attitude 😒 Rapid intensification is nothing to play with period.
