You can find the link in the channel overview. But dot timer is classtimer, castbar is quartz. Icon and timers are TellMeWhen and Pitbull frames. enemy boss frames are shadowed unit frames

Yea its good, mastery scales well on most fights in ToT that arent purely single target or has some sort of burst. Mastery is a good stat for sure as it buffs our dots

For Horridon encounter type i would go Mastery above the haste. The difference of the two is really not that big and i think mastery still works better with burst and top parses until you get a lot of gear

If you did it on a target dummy, that's the issue. You cant test pet dps with recount or on a dummy, you need all raid buff / debuffs on the target and simc simulates that the best. The difference of pets are close to non excistent or within dps error margain.

Going for the 13737 bp is still according to sims. even on multi doting fights. corruption's dmg is low but you gain an extra corruption tick = greater chance for shards, you also get an extra agony tick at 13157

The haunt won't land before the dots start ticking and activiating the dots anyway, and we loose 4 seconds on it. Doesn't feel worth it at all. Haunt is just one spell hitting (with flytime in the air) while dots tick all at once.

Well, drain soul is so long you just want to cut it after a tick (you can get addons that make sounds each time DS ticks)

In general i say ilvl > trinket choice. But it's hard to tell, Cha'ye isn't super bad or anything at all, and its impossible to really legitimate say which one is best. So imo use highest ILVL but i would prefer breath over Cha'ye same ilvl

I use TellMewhen to track that, and any similiar addon can track your Wusholay + stacks too!

MG doesnt give you more ticks of dots sadly, else it would be neat. It's a bit of a personally taste, but a mastery build will give you higher parses on farm and doesnt lower your lowest DPS versus haste

Man, just came now to tell u the results of going 9778 haste BP and then full mastery. My UA turns into the max spell damage in all fights that I did yesterday (I did 11/12). I liked it but as u said it depends of the trinkets procs and I am praying a lot to the RNG Gods. Next reset I will try full haste again to track the results. I am a lock 526 and I am not satisfied with my dps during the encounters. I need to improve more. thanks for ur help.

No, you always want to SB + SS when major procs are up as affliction. Fel flame is waste of mana and only increases dots by 6 seconds. I might cover a few fights, but not all for now. Its getting too late in the expansion and the time they take is quite a lot

Well, worth how? Affliction isn't really best on any fights but it isnt completly terrible either. You can play what you want, but it all comes down to what do you need and does the extra DPS matter over joyment of playing?

I didn't see anything about Cha-ye's Essence of Brilliance. I have a Heroic Breath of the Hydra and a Heroic Thunderforged Cha-ye's. Would the breath of the Hydra still be a better choice to pair with Unerring Vision?

What are you using to show dot timers? Not affdots i mean the timers right above cast bar, And what is showing cast bar? Also what addon do you use to track your meta gem and dark soul (next to enemy bars) And what addon do you use for bars? One thing I am wondering about - the pets with supremacy: When I tried to look what pet did the most dps, I found out that my imp did 3k more dps than the next on the list which is observer. Is there anything I am missing here?

No procs update dynamically on your dots! It's all snapshotted, like meta gem, blood lust, dark soul!

I am always curious to know from what first language accents come from; would I be at all close if I said Portuguese? Thanks for the guide though, I had little problem understanding it. And "tier as far as I know, (my first language is English) is pronounced like in the word teardrop, or phonetically "teer".

Hey Spark it seems that imp gets dmg boost from glyph anyway and so on is best pet atm. i looked for that in different trys same gear same spec same buffs etc. result: with glyp und GoSup Imp -> 10-20k dps more then glyphed and GoSup Hunter

Im having a hard time choosing what spec to play, im new to warlock and i love affliction, but since everyone ive asked says that destro and demo is much better makes me confused what to play. I dont really like Demo and same with Destro =/

On progress, affliction seems to be the one that makes u indipended, u need less healing, ur shield is up constantly and generally healers keep saying how easy is to heal a lock, can even help with dispelling in heavy dispell fights or interupts etc, i know demo reaches higher numbers but would you say, if raid dps aint the issue that affli pulls ahead because of the utilities available to u?

Thats why i said closer to BIS breakpoints around agony at high haste values is better. Simcraft is inflated by haste being so supreme which its not in live play. You wont see 0,1% higher trinket uptime on 25 total kills of a boss, when simcraft values it over 10.000! That's why stacking haste is not good in 99% of cases and should only be considered single target!

Hey spark, long time lock here and I have a few questions. 1 - why do u sb + ss when your trinks proc? Wouldn't fel flame and refreshing agony be saving that extra soul shard? Also I consider myself a pretty good lock, I do well at keeping up w/ mages and shams and whatnots and hitting those top 3 spots in my 25, but on some fights I just get blown out of the water (e.g. primordius). Would it be too much to ask for a fight by fight aff guide? Sounds like a lot of work haha but had to ask.

Hello Sparkuggz. First of all, thank you for this guide, it's very helpfull. But one question is left and i hope u answer me. Is the hastecap 9778 unbuffed the highest cap for haste ? I see you forged more haste then 9778 on your character on wow.com. Is it better to have have 12k haste unbuffed then its possible or stacking mastery after 9778 haste unbuffed, like in this video?
