This is getting glossed over a lot. Even if they only play mid, auto fill is what it is. Getting bot and stealing another lane should be an offense, and not excusable because someone is bad. Its okay to be bad at games, and its okay to still play ranked. Putting in hundreds of hours consistently over time and refusing to learn the game at all is debatable, but not bannable. But playing ranked, ignoring your team, stealing lanes, and effectively trolling games, even if its due to lack of knowledge, should be bannable. Thats a decision not to learn, as well as actively harming your team. After 500 lvls, theres no excuse.

@@SethB420 I sort of agree but at the same time i believe it could really just be someone with a learning disability or a really young child. It's not common enough to get someone like this in your game and in that elo there's good enough chances to have monkeys on the enemy team too that compensate for it. Just like even this game was somewhat close despite that person playing like a bot. Although some sort of 1-day ban or queue delay wouldn't be too bad for people who constantly do this. Problem is with the amount of free time someone with that many points has they'd have no trouble just leveling another account.

If youre a kid and havent learned yet, or theres something about you limiting your gameplay, then you should probly not be in ranked games, regardless of what you play. Theres normals for a reason, and theyd be the place for people to learn or to just not play seriously. Thats the sole reason i dont play ranked, im not willing to put in the effort to climb and would rather play casual.

I'm sure a lot of people hardstuck low silver and lower think they're doing their best and are just unlucky. Iron is there for a reason and people like this are that reason, it's damn near impossible imo to get this low and not get out with minimum effort if you have functional brain cells. And i think it's fine to play ranked even if you're bad because the matchmaking is more strict and for the most part you'll end up with people around your level. Having a monkey on your team even if it's just a normal can ruin someone's day if they're a person who only plays normals.

Fr and the trick is to play a early game champ and stomp early game to make them ff even though you definitely would lose a 30 minute game. For example i was playing Warwick was like 12/3 at 15 minutes and the teams kills were like 19 vs 17 so my team was up but because we doesn’t scale we were actually losing just gotta force the ff

Also, it really is just the consistency that makes someone climb or not. Some silvers are technically impressive, but they are shit at decision making and go in at all the wrong times mid to late. Others know what decisions to make when, but aren’t very technical. They end up clashing with teammates and getting inted as a result

I had a similar thing happen to me in bronze IV: I got top, played Sett. Bot was Kalista and Tahm Kench. 1st minute they went straight to top, I thought they just wanted to do like a combined gank or something, but nope! They stayed on top and wouldn't move. I went bot, to try and save the game, but Zed on mid and Rengar on jgl were kinda throwing. Rip LP : )

I could understand taking smite, if it was an unsealed spellbook build. Smite some cannon minions, swap out to say tp or ignite, get a kill. Honestly I had a friend who was only playing Darius top. I swear we tried but he was just so bad at the game it didn't matter. Sure sometimes we saved his ass as we called him back in time, sometimes with a good gank he scored a kill. But the moment we took our eyes off of him he went full feed mode. It was painful to play with him. But time teaches you to not care and just try your best no matter what the game throws at you since you'll be facing those players every game. Sometimes you'll be that player that holds your team down.

Just my thoughts on this but imo this is someone who doesn't know how the game works in general. It looks like someone who just plays miss fortune and have never watched or seen any other content on league of legends. Their mindset is probably what is the fastest way to win and how do i survive the longest hence the weird rune choices and item build. Also not sure if this was mentioned but on the person's OP.GG page it shows they play mid MF and prob doesnt even know how the system even works and prob thinks they get whatever role they queue for.

I feel like (even in iron) when you play the game for that long, there is no way you're not doing this on purpose. taking champs in roles they don't belong would be understandable, but just going mid and effectively stealing a lane isn't a sign of "I don't undestand the game". But more a sign of "I don't care, fuck my teammates".

the game specifically doesnt say that you cant play MF in midlane tho, it just says she is mainly played in botlane. thats all the system says. and she did carry as and AD champ, doing 2 mid towers pushing hard. thing is, i think this person has a disability, thats all that makes sense.

I got a iron 4 jinx support in my normal game on a gold 1 acc who didn't learn that you don't last hit minions as support and they were level 70. I wasnt toxic and tried to help them, they were nice but it was just funny

I think it all depends on the style of play of this that player. Someone likes to play on broken heroes, while others like to play with only one hero and lose, blaming anyone for it but not themselves and their strategy and style. Some people “just” enjoy the game, not the outcome (win / lose). This applies to many who main terrible champs thats really unhealthy for your mental or your team(temmo, Singed,) - if you not truly MASTERED them and you just a god of tactics, then this is just another lose for you and you know it. In 90% of cases, those who play on them do not plan to win. They plan to inflict as much suffering and damage as possible on their enemies (and sometimes their allies)

What I would do is first of all block and get in touch with this kind of players trying to understand what's in their mind and eventually send them a basic game guide warning them 'cause if they keep playing the way they were they would be reportable for toxic behaviors. Needless to say if you find out the cause is related to some health issue that is actually limitating the player, there isn't much to do. I think it'll be helpfull if Riot force players into champions, runes, spells till a certain elo/number of games. Something like till Silver 1: 1. You cannot pick champs (in the role ur gonna play) that aren't listed as "x" (midlaners, ADCs, etc..). 2. You can only choose between "standard" spells in that role(for example Tp, ignite, flash as midlaner) 3. You can't pick Smite at all if you're not playing jungler role. 4. You can chose between "standard" settings of runes of that champ in that role only. I would also remove the possibility to click-cast spell with mouse, since it's useless and it's only creating people that started doing it and then ended up being unable to switch to keyboard. I don't know if it's gonna be usefull but I'll also add a little decription of champions you play for the first time that pops up somewhere and tells you something like: " This champion is a melee/ranged, he wants to build AP/AD and he usually starts with Q,W or E". A little basic of that champion, that's the idea. Also I would remove that boring part of the game where it holds you down for 10-11 levels forcing you into shitty runes and spells so people don't end up getting used to heal/ghost and can actually use the right runes and spells since the first game to practise how do they like them.
