Does anybody know if i can use a 1/2 hose for a 5.5 pump?
@daveytrotman96814 жыл бұрын
What hose length and is it 5/8?
@scottgarvey81303 жыл бұрын
good video. In your opinion do you think you get more distance with 5/8 hose over 1/2 hose? I have the same set up as you do but i have 1/2 hose.
@readykleenpowerwashing3 жыл бұрын
I've had 5/8 and 1/2 and there was no performance differences. Only difference was the weight of the 5/8 hose. I turned that into supply hose.
@readykleenpowerwashing3 жыл бұрын
@Millennium Man I've tried both sizes and notice no difference in performance. Only difference is the weight of the 5/8 hose. Regardless of that I've since upgraded to a gas system.
@readykleenpowerwashing3 жыл бұрын
@Millennium Man I already know about it. I'm speaking about actual real world noticeable difference. Didn't notice any besides the weight of the 5/8 hose. I was still about to reach 39-40ft with either one.
Hey bud. I just got a 5.5gpm everflow pumo. Which tips are beat for cleaning tile roofs
@readykleenpowerwashing4 жыл бұрын
@@themizzle54shiz all you need is a standard jrod for a 4gpm washer and it will work perfectly for you. You can get the jrods on ebay.
@readykleenpowerwashing4 жыл бұрын
@@themizzle54shiz as far as the tip, I'd recommend using the fan tip and going 50/50 mix for tile because it's so porus.

Can you possibly email me a picture of the pump outlet n inlet setup ??
@readykleenpowerwashing2 жыл бұрын
My current inlet is just a bulkhead fitting with a drop tube in my 55 gallon vertical tank. Outlet goes to hose reel with 250ft of hose. No proportioner. Just straight SH.
@allaboutdetails33562 жыл бұрын
@@readykleenpowerwashing right on. I was thinking of how you stepped up from the 1/2” pump outlet to fit the 5/8” feed hose ??
@readykleenpowerwashing2 жыл бұрын
@@allaboutdetails3356 just a 1/2" to 5/8" barb fitting.

Do notice any drop with the 200ft hose
@readykleenpowerwashing Жыл бұрын
@@stuartmacbeth7893 I don't even use 5/8 hose anymore. I use 250ft of flexzilla 1/2" air hose because of the weight savings. No drop because I use an accumulator that maintains line pressure. I still get 39ft distance and can hit 2.5 stories with no wind.
