I've been able to increase my vertical jump easily using an awesome program. I can't post the link here but you can find it on my channel To anyone who wants to increase his vertical jump as well: - Focus on exercises that target the muscles used in jumping, such as squats, lunges, calf raises, and deadlifts. Incorporate both bodyweight exercises and weighted exercises to build strength. - Plyometric exercises help improve the power and explosiveness of your muscles. Include exercises like jump squats, box jumps, depth jumps, and bounding in your workout routine. - Work on your jumping technique to optimize your performance. Practice jumping with proper form, including using your arms to generate momentum and landing softly to reduce impact. See you guys when you reached your vertical jump goals!

I grew up with a guy who was an awesome athlete. He was a crazy good tail back in football and didn't bother with basketball. He was 5'9" and like 190 pounds. He'd show up to the basketball courts with a 40oz beer in his hand and wearing flip flops. He'd stick his thumb in the beer to keep it from spilling and dunk from a stand still with either hand... In flip flops. He had the best smile, he'd smile and keep walking by as we all seethed with jealousy. Shout out to by guy Oochie.

To put this into reference for non-NBA watchers, the highest vertical leap at the combine is around 48 inches, which is for guys who regularly work on their vertical and play basketball nearly every day for hours on end, and even those are standouts. Former MVP James Harden's vertical was recorded at 37 inches, so in 2 months he got an MVP's vertical, I can only imagine 2 more.
@EA-ps4wc
@EA-ps4wc Жыл бұрын
Exactly, this is an absolutely insane transformation. But like they said at the beginning he comes from a family of hoopers/jumpers so he probably has pretty favorable genetics for explosive performance. Most people are not adding 7 inches to their vertical in 2 months no matter how good their coach is

Bruh I need this man to train me. I can reach 10ft 3. Without any training at 5ft 9. But still could never dunk on a proper 10ft rim. Some of those crappy park rims though they be making you feel better.

The two handed dunk was on a low rim. T jass has a 5v5 video from this spot and you can tell it's not 10 feet. I'm sure with a little more training he could dunk on 10 feet, but that's not 10 feet. (They never said he could dunk on 10 btw, just said he could dunk.)

personally I've never seen 5'2 dunking, I'm 5'8 too and my friend 5'6 and also dunks, but 5'4 guys dunk in KZbin videos, so I think it's possible for you to dunk, maybe it's even more complicated and harder than them but not impossible.

Good work great improvement but in our world that’s a tip in and a rim grab and dunking is a skill by itself, my elbow use to be above the rim and I couldn’t dunk I use to go too hard (back rim) but I slowed it down and learned to dunk and it’s very important to land softly it helps prevents knee injuries

Good stuff, when i was alot younger i could dunk easy off a drop step, at 6ft4. Recently i was messing around at work with my crew and i went for a dunk wearing steel toe work boots. I actually did it, and it was a hard dunk too. Im 6ft5 now and ill be 45 this year. But i felt that dunk for about 2 days, man i was so sore. Getting older sucks.

i think all you need to do at your age is to literally jump a lot. Search up PJF Podcast and overtimeathletes. If you are passionate about improving your vert then listen and watch their videos until you have a basic frame of work to go through. Jumping high requires strong legs and good mechanics+bouncy tendons. Since you don't want to stunt your growth just jump like a pogo stick a lot and jump as high as you can until you get sore + other pylo exercises. rest and continue when you are ready to go.

@@baby_rage2427 ay bruh I’m not taking anything away from him. Most people would need YEARS to put that many inches on their vert. That being said, he’s 5’8. He still needs to add a few more inches so he can actually dunk consistently. My point was that he got great genetics so the potential is there, he should’ve taken full advantage of it and continued training until he stopped improving you know?
