What is mean by packed number and hexadecimal number

Packed Number - This data type is used when we want to provide decimal places, such as quantity, Amount etc. Suppose I am writing - DATA : LV_AMOUNT TYPE P DECIMALS 2. So, LV_AMOUNT = 100.50. I specified 2 digits after the decimal places. Hexadecimal Number : The Word itself is suggesting, It has a base of 16, which stores the data in binary format.
