How to learn ACT Math skills!
Struggling with ACT Math? Looking to improve your Math score? Frustrated with practicing and finding little to no improvement or results?
It might be because there are a select handful of ACT Math skills that are giving you trouble. So the question then becomes, what skills do you need to improve, and more importantly, how exactly do you improve in those specific areas?
Using the ACT's official list of skills outlined in their prep guide, we dissected a number of past ACT Math exams to find a series of problems from each individual skill area on the ACT Math section.
In this video, we discuss each problem type, how you should approach the problems, and some strategies for the learning the skills.
Now to actually improve your skills...
1. Here's method 1 (takes a few months): bit.ly/6-practice-tests
2. Here's method 2 (takes a few weeks): the5academy.com/new

When making a reflection 29:00, the reflection point is exactly the midpoint. You can use the midpoint formula. Given point (4,-5), reflection point (-6,5) Midpoint equations: (X+4)/2 = -6 (Y-5)/2 = 5 We have x=-16, y=15

At 7:39 it's supposed to be -5 because when you subtracted 9x on both sides you left out the negative sign next to 15

2 squares of 4 edge lengths, plus 4 more edge lengths connecting the two squares, so 2(4) + (4) = 3(4)

So, if I re-take the ACT and got lower score on Math than the previous test. Will they keep the higher score from previous test or will they just give you the new lower score?

Someone help. Shouldn’t the 30 cars question be A? It’s asking for what’s between. The 24-17 gives 7, within 20+ and 30, not exactly between 20 and 30, right? We have to exclude what’s part of 20, which is less than 7?

Yes it’s A. Knowing that the a^2 + b^2 are 9 and 7, the hypotenuse is the squared root of 130(81+49), which is approximately 11. You add them all up: 17+20+13+8+11=69

If I take the ACT just the math section will my composite score increase? Or is the Math section score just individual?
@nasaalfarah5652
@nasaalfarah5652 2 жыл бұрын
If one your scores increase more than like 2 points, your composite score should increase because that’s the average of all your scores. You can search up ACT calculator and play with it and see how much your composite score would increase if you get a certain score. If you are taking the math by itself, I haven’t so I’m not too sure but I’m pretty sure it will increase your superscore.
