I just made the Love Notions Metra Blazer and I love it! It is a knit Blazer but still looks very professional. I have already worn it to work and will make more in a few other colors.

Sound exciting. My favourite blazer, which I have now made 3 times is the Love Notions Metro Blazer. It is perhaps more casual, goes together really easily and has lovely inseam pockets. Made in knit fabric. I've made mine in Ponte. Wear them loads.

Oooh I like the idea of a Ponte blazer!!

And Love Notions has a great size range with built in FBA options. And as another person on the edge of standard and plus sizes, I've had no issues grading between sizes. Their patterns are layered and that makes it so easy to deal with grading.

Wonderful useful vlog Hayley! Thank you. I am currently working on the Heather Blazer as my first blazer actually with a lovely medium weight teal linen that I got in one of your boxes many moons ago. Planning to line it with a viscose. I'm right on the XXL line and hoping it will fit. Thought about using 1X but then looked at the finished measurements. I may need a 1X sleeve. xx Karen

I’d like to recommend the Metra blazer by Love Notions. It’s very flattering, recommended fabric is ponte and sews up nicely, a fun sew.

Hi Hayley. I'd love to see how you make your chosen blazer. Loved the jumper you were wearing. My box arrived yesterday. It's great, love it. Looking forward to your next video. Thank you 😊

Have a go at the merchant and mills Quinn pants. I made them in a black stretch drill and they turned out so well. Love the straight leg and there’s plenty of room in the thighs which is bonus. They are not supposed to be made in stretch fabric, but it certainly helps with fit issues and comfort!

Perfect timing Hayley. I'm thinking of doing the Auburn blazer in denim to have this as my "elevated denim jacket" but as a blazer too - because we are heading into Autumn in Australia and I just think this would be pretty cool with a little bit of distressing. Of course I'd make a classier one also for going to the office (if I worked in one) as like you I wear what I wear at home to my home office.

Get the actual jacket fabrics scraps and made 6 yes 6 welt pockets as Practice. Write down everything you learn with each practice and you will not only be an expert but you'll be able to skite "Oh! Welt pockets.. they're easy!!"😂😂😂
