LOVED the Audiobooks for "None of this is True" by Lisa Jewell and "Listen for the Lie" by Amy Tintera - both are thrillers that include podcasts as a theme and those parts were pretty good integrated and quite immersive in the audiobooks (especially None of this is true!)

I don't read and listen to the book at the same time but I do like alternating where I left off. Like if I'm in the car or cleaning or something I'll do the audiobook, then when I'm chilling I do the physical. It makes me finish faster than usual.

This came right on time for me…. I felt the need to start reading actual books at the beginning of the year and it’s been wonderful …. But now I have 7 credits with audible that I REALLY need to use so I can cancel the membership 😅

I love audio books and listen to them almost exclusively over traditional books. I do have a Kindle but I find that audiobooks help me work much faster. Funny Story is actually the first Emily Henry book that I’ve been able to finish and I’m so glad I did because I loved it so much. Now I want to go back and finish the other ones I couldn’t finish. I typically read horror and thrillers but Abby Jimenez is an automatic read for me. You also have me wanting to check out some of the other genres as well. I think you’re so passionate about a few books that I simply must give them a try.

I love all the books you mentioned especially the seven year slip! My fav Audiobooks are: "Harry Potter" red by Stephen Fry (I reread and relisten them every year! 😅) "The meaning of Mariah Carey" (red by herself - so good!) "The hate you give" by Angie Thomas (narrator: Bahni Turpin) The ACOTAR Series but the dramatized adaptation! Soooo gooood 😍 "Butcher & Blackbird" by Bryan Weaver (narrators: Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers) "The burnout" by Sophie Kinsella (narrator: Bessie Carter) and all the Lynn Painter books (Jesse Vilinsky is just awesome!) I am currently listening to "The things we leave unfinished" by Rebecca Yarros (narrators: Tim Paige and Carly Robins) and I am loving it so far! 😃

Audiobook memoirs when read by the author, are amazing! In general, I love books read by the author even when it isnt a memoir.

I started that Vera Wang audio book because of you. Unfortunately I ran out of time on my Spotify so I can't finish until next month, but so far I'm loving it!

I mentioned in a previous video's comments how I'm reading The City We Became and I've been listening to the audiobook in tandem with reading the physical book and it's an amazing experience!! Robin Miles is the narrator and SHE IS A MASTER AT HER CRAFT!!! It's so good that even when we come up to a scene with multiple voices, you'd swear they were all voiced by separate people!! If you're still thinking of reading The City We Became, you definitely DEFINITELY need to listen to the audiobook!!!!!

Hey Friend, Happy Thursday. I absolutely love audio books, being able to listen to a book instead of reading is so much better for my busy life. 😊

I lovvvveee audiobooks! I’m a first time mom and audiobooks have been such a godsend and actually helped me read more. It’s so hard to hold a baby and read a book. But rocking a baby to sleep or cleaning up with an audiobook? Done! I listened to all of Lucy Foley books and those were a fun listen! 💕💕

I wish I had listened Educated , but instead I read physical copy from my library. I read it before I got into audiobooks! I'm sure the audiobook is great and I loved to hear Tara's story. She's really done well and has fought so much to get to where she is today! Also I'm tandem reading with the audiobook with Good Girl, Bad Blood and it's my second time doing this and I really enjoy it!

Audiobooks changed the game for me! I'm so glad you enjoy them, and you picked some really great ones. Highly recommend The City We Became on audio because every character has a different NYC accent and the voice acting is amazing.

I really loved listening to the 'secret history' and 'I'm glad my mother died'. Both great books. The latter, narrated by the author herself

A must listen for me that I will always recommend is "Thank you for Listening" by Julia Whelan. It's story is set in the audio narration workplace and the author, a voice actress herself, reads the book. It just added a whole other layer for me listening to this as an audio book and the story was awesome! Highly recommend.

I agree in Beach Read, it was too long and felt like the build up was not for a lot of pay off. I did like book lovers though.
