I have built at that 4th location quite a few times. The only time I've had issues with other camps is when my son is on the same server as me because he loves building there too.

That last location is so sick. I would build it like a castle with that bridge being the choke point.

Thnx for the video. For a flat camp, I've used R&G Train Station. Bonus of having a vendor/scrip machine next door. Oh, and looking west you can watch nuclear missiles launching from a silo.

great locations. I still think the Whitespring area in general is the worst area to build because: 1. 75% of the time there's another C.A.M.P. or some Survival Tent already there when you log in 2. it's the 4th most Nuked area, the other 3 are just for events

I actually like the Whitespring area because of the nukes, gives me a place of reprieve while fighting the hordes of Ghouls, and also helps against them with turrets, I like it

I used to live on the forth spot, you do have to worry about three bugs, which are typically bloatflies, over all, you just have to put some turrets to deal with them.

Built my second characters camp in the 1st location and it’s resulted in many great pictures and I actually built a pretty decent mini nuka-world.

i just started building in one of the giant radar dishes in the Savage divide, the one that has an exactly Camp sized flat area around it fenced off and its a great little spot for a millitary build, so im finally using all my BoS towers and armoury and build set, making myself a little self supporting BoS outpost within the fence. no water or extractor but those are not big priorities for me since we got those water barrels a few years ago.

I have a camp in spot 2. It's a tent camp... with a distinctly "Blue Ridge Caravan" theme going on, right down to brahmin pen and wagons. My ally is dressed in Blue Ridge, I have flags up, everything I'm using in this camp is the kind of thing you can imagine being loaded into a wagon... so no structures, no large decorations, just small things, clutter, solar power, deep well instead of purifiers, that sort of thing. I chose that location because it's a believable trade route between Appalachia and other populated areas west of Appalachia. I added a cargo bot wasteland shelter recently, and plan to make a blue ridge pit stop in that shelter/cell to imply that the cargo bot takes you over the mountains to someplace like an area outside Columbus, Cincinnati, or Louisville/Nashville... if that makes sense. I hope future Expeditions take us to some of the other nearby cities, similar, but better than was done with The Pitt. I think Atlantic City is a bit far... but I know why they are doing it. To appeal to the community of players who liked the gambling and casinos in New Vegas... it just feels like a more of the same. Wouldn't Nashville be a cool choice for a Fallout 76 Expedition?

I used to have a camp in the first location. I kept getting blocked so I moved. It does have a great view. Nowadays I look for two things. The first is water within easy walking distance. The second is the spawn point. I have tried some great looking locations in the past the were a real hassle to spawn into. One dropped you off of a cliff. Another location would spawn you inside of a rock. I have learned that if you walk away a short distance and then fast travel back to the campsite the game will show you where the spawn point is.

Funny thing is that in the latest update I think they actually placed a new location on the first spot on your list lol, a cabin and stuff are there now so even the developers liked your spot

I would not recomend the second spot for not careful people as it`s a literal end of world. The spot is behind both warning fences and just couple steps south ends up in sinking below world. I guess that it allows to place camps and even walk there because of unmarked easter egg on side of cliff (one of many Bethesda style unmarked easter eggs on map borders) and maybe this location will have some meaning at some point as it has a weird diamond shape carving on one of rocks but at this point it`s probably just a glitch location i would say.

Any locations just off the side of a road. But not really on the road would be a great video. A lot of people they’ll just plopped down there shack right in the middle of a road. There’s some relatively flat land next to. The wayward that I always find my self revisiting

Location 5 is surrounded by Scorchbeasts. Camp is under attack whole time. Not a good location.

I had one in the exact spot on the golf course. Seemed like everyone wanted that spot so I moved to a different spot on the golf course. And I have one right above the spot you can get the old war clothes

I´m looking for a new camp location for an Enclave inspired camp (as well bought a couple shelters to include everything together). I just have no real idea what to actually build. It gets frustrating currently. My main camp currently is in the Whitespring at that little pond you showed. I build there an own vision of the Whitespring. And for that I´m actually proud of it. 🦆

Hey i have a question. I am not a camp builder by any means. I don't enjoy it and I'm not good at it. But I've made a nice camp that i like and other players seem to like as well. I want to move it, but i don't want to rebuild it because it's a pain in my ass. If i use the move camp option, will i be able to just replace my whole building, or will i have to rebuild it?

Sometimes when you move a camp it will automatically save the structure blueprint and you can place it down at the new location. You can also manually blueprint your camp. That way you always have a copy of it!

Sometimes after moving camps, you have the ability to place down a preexisting camp, but it is suuuper finicky! It really depends on the location and the terrain. I've moved camps a couple times before they added the ability to buy slots and every time I've usually had to rebuild them.

Hmm, ok thanks guys. I'll have to look into blue printing and see what i can do. If all else fails, i guess I'll just make a video of it and use that as a reference to rebuild.

I have only successfully moved my camp once. I moved from one flat spot to another. Most of the time I have to start over at the new location. FYI. If you want to move locations you need to remove stairs. The game will not allow you to place a saved building down if stairs are attached to a foundation.

I've made a few attempts to build a cut down Spencer Mansion from Resident Evil. the #1 place I'm look'n at is the Mire but I really need a large completely clear space like the golf course. absolutely no trees. I really need help with the location before I can build it up.

My camp is in the mire just north of the cranberry bog basically in the big pond you can see on the map and I do not get attacked there and people seem to leave me alone. No significant reason for people to be there. It's a pretty good little spot just south east of the red rocket. Good amount of PA spawn locations and random enemy spawns

From past experience the 1st one should be fine. Others like the Cranberry Bog or Whitespring I’d perhaps avoid. Or place it and just be aware so you could change your slot.

Don't built a camp by whitespring north at golf course. I lost 3 bases and can't build anymore cause other people's base will spawn on mine and loose ability to build any more generators or power armor crafting stations
