At Location 2, you can use the Moe the mole Photoboard floor decoration to go in and out of the cabin no rug needed.

That last one is going to have so many camps on it! I found a reasonably flat spot directly south of the Trading Post (free travel point place). The game let me get everything set up before deciding it was a critter spawn point (dogs and bloatflies and rats so far). So every time I've gone back it's been under attack or already broken lol Might have to relocate and this video has helped a lot :D

Sounds like some pretty easy mobs. Figure out where the spawn points are and set up turrets.

Last night I accidentally placed a new camp down with my *almost* completed mire treehouse camp loaded (instead of the old one I was emotionally prepared to part with, lol). I almost cried, that camp was a huge p.i.t.a. to build and I loved it. The first location in this video being a treehouse seems like a sign! For the issues with bigger objects snapping up to the roof, I’ve also found that you can place blueprints without this happening & no extra carpet needed.

That cabin spot is incredible! This was my first look at it. With the closed-off space being workable + the puppy!! Definitely the best new spot! Absolutely killer video TNG!

There is a run down ice cream shop and parking lot on the left side of the map. Built my base on the overlook and made my vendor the ice cream shop. Really awesome spot.

Location #4 also has a vault entrance that you cannot interact with. When exploring on launch day I came across this spot and instantly fell in love with it. Everything from the scenery to the weather in the background. It's a top 10 spot for me.

Blueprinting and object u want to place as well will also help placement in premade structures

When building in pre existing structures, rugs do work. But. To save budget. Instead of rugs, simply just make a blueprint of the item, and it should just place down

Came here to say this. It works very frequently in cases of objects being highlighted green but not being able to place due to supposed intersection, but more importantly, it works every time in cases of objects teleporting onto upper surfaces - as seen in this video.

On the treehouse build. Blueprint the object and place the blueprint down and the item won't jump to the roof

The island location you picked for potential fort is just south of the event and in general a nice spot just for where it is, I decided to occupy the bridge near there in my first build in this area as part of my structure.

That camp with the dock I built a beautiful cabin , there just a warning everytime you load in you have. Tons of crickets there , they come back every 20 mins lol

At the cabin there is a Mr.Squeeze random event too! So if u havent got Hard Lemodane yet, you can just set up your camp there, and wait for him to come!

No 3 Waterfalls?! Lol. Im trying to build there right now. It's sooooo unforgiving. I have to mix prefabs in with normal construction. There isn't enough flat land there. I loooooooove that spot with island in the middle and the floating docks. Some of the new content yet to be released is going to focus on river and water fun.

That destroyed barn split in two might be a good place for the destroyed plane prefab if you can make it fit somehow, like the plane crashed into it and was inhabited afterward

There is a playground next to the trading post that you can put the module inside the sandbox, also a pretty cool spot ^^

It's a shame that you can't build a camp including that walkout dock in the last location. I tried putting my camp module over that way and couldn't. I found a location to the east a little from the 1st & last locations that is up on a hill and has a walking trail leading up to it. I made a small camp build using the camper. This location also has a path going down the other side that has a ramp at the end of it where some folks were using bicycles to ramp across the gap. There will be broken bicycles and such if you come across it. Tyvm for the video TNG, I didn't know about a couple of these locations. I appreciate it.

Im playing around with building at the tree house and yes its a pain in the butt, you're gonna be using a lot of rugs to get stuff placed inside but I can't wait to see what the community does with this spot.

I have one built at the tree house, hard to put any prefab camp there with it being so uneven. Super mutants have been destroying my camp constantly 🤦🏻‍♂️might need to switch spots

South of the trade location. Found an oil seep location. Was building camp and noticed lightning strike my oil resource. In about 20 minutes latter and several strikes, it was almost destroyed. Btw lightning harvesters don’t do anything lol. I’m moving!

I decided to try and make a tree fort at the first location unfortunately that hill is a sloppy, kind of wish they gave us the concrete pillars so I can sink the walls into the ground

So a tiny bit above three ponds a little bit to the north west you'll find a lookout with a settler and you can put your Camp there too. When you look on the ground you'll find a guy there named Willie. He has a holotape lol like Willie Wonka with a golden ticket. Also follow the river all the way south and you'll find a tent set up on the river. Very south at the edge of the map between slimberr mill motel and south river bridge you'll find a tiny shack chained up saying stay out. And prior to that a bit north is a park area with 4 or 5 npc raiders. You can build there too. Just letting you all know. But when I was there twice, mutants spawned in to fight them and a blue devil, oqua AND a sheepsquatch!! All three showed up. A little south of that area was a cultist setup and they were fighting a blue devil. When I went back the second time all three of them spawned in I couldn't believe it. I guess I'm not building a camp there😂 South East below camp liberty almost at the very bottom of the map there are 2 tents and some crates by the rock and some honey. There is also a poor miner who got caught in the cave in and you can see him sticking out from the rubble. To the right of the water that looks like a donut lol, east side of the area..halfway between that and the west Virginia picture, there is a npc with a fire and tent set up. So south of the HZ 21 station and north east of the weather station on the grouping of mountains you see, there is a tent set up with a couple of vehicles and mountain climbers that fell off the mountain. Just Scouting Around will do a separate post if I find any other locations. Feel free to post up another video tng. Just trying to help🎉

I would give the map expansion a solid 10 out of 10. I would give the new season a 2 out of 10. You can really see where the developers focus was at.
