I see that you are right my garden is going on 3 years and I am seeing benefits starting to come. I still have very stubborn weeds but not as many. Great video I just found your channel and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

My son moved me to his place to start a garden and Back to Eden as you said seemed to be the best long-term investment. Last year he said I see gardens that are lush..I said wait until next year, you'll see! He has two acres and gathered all the leaf matter and grass clippings for me. I sent him this video to encourage him especially the part about the trees, an arborist told him they were bad for them. Hope he watches this!

Hopefully it works for him. It does take some time for everything to come together. Some additional organic fertilizer next year might be helpful until the natural decomposition starts to really occur. This is my garden after 3 years of wood chips. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqvCaH5um897epI

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and YES!! Be patient! I have left so many B2E groups because they try to make it something it's not to speed up the process. BE PATIENT AND LISTEN TO YOUR GARDEN! Watch the garden and the plants and the bugs and the birds. (I try to never miss a good opportunity to shut up and listen.) This is the first video of yours that i've watched and I think you get it. I look forward to watching more. (I used to have a KZbin gardening channel myself.)

This is my first year with BTE and my main purpose I started gardening this year is to do "work" around patience. So thanks for #5 Be Patient. Nice cup.

It may not be a nitrogen tie up, But a lack of nitrogen in the first place.

I have seen the three-year timeframe reduced in tropical settings - ie. Cambodia and South Florida.

Yea, that wouldn’t surprise me in a warmer climate with a shorter dormant season.
