Yeah I agree with @ArnoldQMudskipper. There are a lot of videos on how to set up java easily with how long mods have been available to MC. Just make sure you understand the more ‘beefier’ modpacks/individual mods you might want to download can take up a lot of space on your laptop/computer. So I’d say once you’ve done your java setup and researched mods you’re interested in, expect to make some sacrifices if you don’t have a computer setup that can handle a lot of mods running at the same time. Also take your time and trust the process of learning. It might take a few times and more research to get everything setup correctly onto your server 💙
