Great tips, particularly the fifth one, folks tend to forget, doing bushcraft is for you for you alone, not for others.

Ah thank you, you are absolutely right! I think it's a great shame that the journey of discovery when we first start out often becomes tainted with the need to impress others, something I expect we are all guilty of. 🙂🔥🤜🏻

Hi Paul was great to meet you at the weekend at Lavu in the farm can’t thank you enough for taking the time to explain you passion it’s definitely reminded Me that I don’t need all the costly gear I think I do and it’s inspired me to try some of the techniques you demonstrated and focus on why I want to be out in the wild camping in the first place. That said keep the videos coming can’t wait to see more.

Great to see you back in the outdoors again Paul, and equally great to hear you say your back in love with it as you were before. Keep up the great work bud.

Good information. I think watching KZbin, gleaning information can overwhelm us. It can also hinder ones confidence. Should I do something the way I feel is right because others are doing it differently. I know what works for me and if what I think is right doesn’t work then I can try again.

@@paulsmithprimitivebushcraft Good thank you. Watching you and others freely giving so much useful information has been great. And also having ideas to try out when going on my own outdoor adventures, be it on my own, or with my kids and friends, has helped me stay positive throughout this very bizarre time. What you say about the online community is very true. Although many, like us, have never met. We can all learn and share the knowledge for others to use. Cheers again Paul. All the best 👍
