When you get your peg down to the square shape, use the Scotch eye on your auger; it should be the right size to make a pin that fits into the auger hole. That's one of the uses of the cutting edge of the eye.

That is the best tipi I've ever seen, and I've seen Many. Your bot seems to need a sharpen, im sure you can find a video on how to do that. A tip on applying the daub,slap it on with some force, it will stick better, and some clay helps even more. Cheers buddy, your camp is looking Awesome.
