Thank you - video is very well done. Less than 2 years to retire abroad. Equador has always been on my list!

Thanks for this look at some little-known countries. Uruguay sounds really good.

Uruguay is often considered the most stable country in SA and with that comes the most costly. But when compared to the US and Canada, it's very affordable! And a terrific option!!

Yet, another great video ..very good breakdowns of each county. Just a suggestion, including the language spoken in each country, would help . Continue making those gems 💎

BRAZIL. I`m doing this during a break in the Thursday Night Football game from my home in Northeastern Brazil (yes, I am connected to everything), but I didn`t see it on the list. Everyone knows the Pros of the big dog of South America. Unfortunately, unless you live here like me, you hear the negative rumors. Don`t believe them or else come down here and see for yourself. My family is almost totally Brazilian, so I have been coming here since I was 10. The exchange rate is 5 Brazilian Reis to 1 American Dollar, and we live very, very comfortably on the family compound with three houses on the property with room for more. The key is to actually TRAVEL. You can only get so much from videos and reedit. Boa Noite. 🤨

Ecuador is experiencing constant power outages for many hrs at a time, def not an option at this time.
@adventurefreaksssКүн бұрын
It is definitely having some challenges however Ecuador remains one of the best options in South America, with incredible landscape, access to mountains, beaches, high altitude towns with cooler climates and a welcoming culture! And the affordability is truly incredible when compared to the US and Canada:)

Scandinavia is by far the best option.

I appreciate the suggestions and the details. I personally am willing to live in a place with a higher cost of living, especially if the local government is not going to tax my retirement income. France is high on my list for this reason.

Erick, I believe France does tax foreign pensions. There is a dual taxation treaty with the US though. But countries like Ecuador and Colombia do not tax foreign sourced pensions!
@camiller491617 сағат бұрын
@@adventurefreaksss France does not tax US pensions and any taxes owed r paid to the US. They have tax credits set up to avoid double taxation. U may have to pay into the health system, but the cost is less than u would pay in the US, even with Medicare. But if u r a tax resident in France u have to file a tax return in both US and France. I have been researching this for years and France has the best tax treaty with the US in Europe. Anyway, that’s my understanding thus far.

@@adventurefreaksss You are really fool. Do you think you are talking to a totally ignorant about Latin Country? There is not safety at all in those Countries, that's why in all of them there are thousands on waiting list to get out and many start travelling by walking out to the USA.

Did he mention the cartel/gangs moving drugs through Ecuador these days?
@adventurefreaksssКүн бұрын
Not specifically. My focus is on highlighting the positives of each country. Similarly, when I compare other countries to the U.S., I don't focus on issues like gangs or organized crime in U.S. cities either.
