the Lotto (2 ranked) deforms after a month, its totally a different shoe after a couple matches, I have a strong pronation, which was holding fine on first 10, 15 match, after that, destroyed my knee. the Diadora ( 5 ranked) fixed everything, Shoe feels and looks the same, after 25, 30 matches, Knee pain is gone, the only thing is Diadora feels like lose on feet, but does not bother that much, defenitely much better than Lotto.

This video saved my ankles and knees I am not a petite player by any means I changed from Barricade - 3-4 sessions max I used them to ASICS court ff2 thinking that I fixed my shoe problem because they did feel much better than the adidas but after just one session 2+ hours in the mizuno it was another level of comfort and I am not recovering 1-2 days later from sore and painful ankles and knees. Thank you!!!!

I just bought the Mizuno enforce, as I was watching the video, I was sad they weren't on the list. until I saw they were #1. I'm a singles player coming back after an achilles tendon tear. They are replacing my favorite Nike Vapor Pro. I'm looking forward to playing in them. FYI, they are cut a bit small. I'm a 7 in Mizuno wave runners, but 7.5 in the Mizuno enforce.

I look forward to your top 5's every year. I was so dissapointed with Mizuno wave exceed 5 lack of cushioning for knees it made me try something with the best foam cushioning on the market, NB lav v2 which I love. If the Mizuno enforce go on sale, might have to give them a shot.

Thank you for the new info and the homework I have to do on the Mizuno's. Our son plays tennis. After many years we stepped away from Asics, because of the Gel Resolution 8 By watching your videos we decided for three alternatives. Diadora Blushield Torneo, Yonex Eclipsion 4 and the Lotto Raptor Hyperpulse. He played in the first two and hopefully this summer the Raptors.

After GP Turbos got discontinued I followed your advice and used a couple of Lotto’s. They are comfortable but the uppers ripped. Just got the Mizuno now, the insole is very flimsy but I’m using the new easyfeet insoles. Only “complaint” I have is that they are not squeaky like the Mizuno 4 which I loved

My top 2 are the Babolat Jet Mach 3 and the Wilson Rush 3.5. Tried the Asics FF2 and it just didn't work well with the fit. Curious about the GR9, but hell.... Too happy with the Babolat to change it.

I know nike isn’t always highly rated but Of the newer shoes iv tried all three of Nikes. The Vapor pro, The Vapor 11 and the Vapor 9.5. For me the 11 is the best more support than the other two and a nice fit for my slightly wider forefoot.

The wave enforce tour was almost perfect out of the box. However, after playing a few times and my foot sank lower into the shoe, the separate interior support started to rub my inner ankle area right beneath the bone. The pain is excrutiating. I can't wear them anymore.

Doctor Zach, I'm a previous big time Gel Res. fan. No longer a fan with the change made to the 8 & 9. I'm very particular with my shoes and fit. If I don't have the right shoe for my feet, I can feel it right through to my fingers, literally. I prefer to wear good high end tennis shoes even when not playing as I'm always very active and the give me the support. With the lack of availability of the top shoes you recommend, do you have any recommendations for a shoe that will fit more like the previous Gel Res versions even if they aren't the top end competitors?

Zach I swear I have some MIzuno running shoes size 15 but I have NEVER seen a tennis Mizuno shoe size 15, do you know if they do indeed make those sweet shoes in size 15? And also I"m so old I remember they were called MidWest sports :)

As a podiatrist, I’m sure you’d be happy to hear I’m back in PT strengthening everything so hopefully the shoe doesn’t matter eventually. But for the time being, I want the most protection. I’m wearing a Superfeet Dynamic Run Max insole. I have recently stopped using my hard/very rigid custom insoles due to the lack of shock absorption as well.

Been using the Enforce Tours for Pickleball, and picked them up a month ago. They were super comfortable and stable, but the outsoles are already completely smooth from the ball of my foot up through toe box, and completely worn through under the big toe on both shoes. I play nearly every day, and only put them on when I get to the court. is there something I'm missing? Or should I expect that to happen so quickly at this frequency. $150 on shoes every month is frustrating, to say the least. :(

That Lotto Hyperpulse shoe runs quite small. I've never worn a 9 in ANY shoe, yet this Lotto shoe was way too small in an 8.5. Perhaps just way too narrow for me. But I don't buy wide shoes.
