In my personal experience, the flip-to-mute feature is not advisable for use. Frequently moving the boom poses the risk of damaging the internal cable, as illustrated in the comments below, which can shorten the product's lifespan and often occurs after the warranty period ends. Currently, I have two headsets with the flip-to-mute feature, but I still prefer to use the conventional keyboard shortcut to mute or press the mute button within the application.

The BH71 has a flip up to mute feature?!?! I didn’t know there was a mono headset that had that feature!

Mute button on the boom mic for the Shokz Opencomm2 trumps any move arm up to mute of the others ....

@@HeadsetAdvisor I don't have one yet. Just enjoying seeing the tech evolve before I need a new headset.

All the mic's were okay I guess but I wish there was one that could shape the sound to make it more like a corded. I'm sure there's some type of input dac that could do it. Better yet would be if the software (Teams, Sype, Webex), etc. that would handle that.

Thanks for watching! Business headsets whether wired or wireless add mic noise canceling technology. This comes at a slight cost of having the best pure voice quality but for the gain of being heard clearly when around background noise.

how about the Epos 5061?

It didn't make this list but the 5061 is a good one to consider as well.

How can anyone recommend the Jabra Evolve2 Flex 65 to people? I really wanted them to be good, but this is not the case. I’m on my third pair because each one has issues with the microphone cutting out, making my meetings unbearable. Every time I sent the headphones for repair, I ended up waiting for months, but in the end, they would offer to replace them or give me my money back. I just gave up at this point. The forums are full of disappointed users with the same issue. Against my better judgment, my coworker got one recently, and it has the same issue.

Hello. I have used Jabra Evolve2 75 for almost past 4 years and 2 pairs of them ended up with the same issue. Microphone broke and people couldn't hear me anymore. I suspect the moving microphone mechanism is to blame. I think they have design flaw here or planned obsolescence. I decided to not trust with 3rd pair of Jabra headset. What I see in Jabra2 65 Flex is very similar mechanism for hiding microphone as for Jabra Evolve2 75. Overall it's a pity Jabra can't design something that will last longer than 20 months:/

True… is a very bad product.

Sorry to hear your experience. We still recommend it depending on the use case because most customers we work with don't seem to have this mic issue on the Evolve2 65 Flex like there was on the Evovle2 75.
