5 BIG R/C Mistakes YOU might be making!

Other than number 5, these are the most common mistakes I see other RC Car enthusiasts making! Number is just the worst, luckily I don’t see many people doing it. Don’t let the WD40 get away from you 😂

Good stuff 👍🏻. Get Hobby grade charger = that great feeling that you now belong, no turning back & a worthy commitment . Silicone Spray works for me although the tires get covered up by pair old socks & I've used dab of nail polish before when out of Locktite.

Nail polish is a good idea! A little bit of glue can play substitute as well. Good thinking on the socks, I’m always taking the darn wheels off but your idea could save a little more time! Thanks for watching!

@@Bash_TheStampede Bearing I learned hard way 4 months later on a 1/16 Slash . Ran wonky but never paid no mind . Once prob was "found" the races had separated into two steel rings & a bunch of bearings rained down like it was Dove Shot. Now it's done frequently & been using LPS firearms oil with good results . It's thin , dries in hours & hell on rust . I run all asphalt & your results may vary. 😁

@@davidrivero7943 I use a thin oil too actually! I just know that if water enters the picture I’d better check those bearings lol. Lots of people use a heavier grease but I’ve been getting on fine with just some 3 in one.

Dude , get some light , the ceiling light and window don't cut it, specially in overcast days , your videos would improve 100% in quality, there's a bunch of cheap options online with good quality for the price

Dude I know. The overhead light is a relatively new thing and I think it helps with like close up on the desk kind of stuff, but lighting myself up during talking parts has been a struggle. I don’t know if you’ve seen many of my videos but I do have another lighting setup that I’ve used in other videos. It’s just a couple of cheap LED lights but I don’t think they’re bright enough. I might have to buy something else. Thank you for the constructive feedback! Do you have any budget-ish recommendations?

@@nunocarneiro464 just a couple of Walmart LED panels for video lights. Like dirt cheap lol. The camera I use for the talking sections is the Sony ZV1F. Running stuff I usually use a Go Pro or my phone.

@@Bash_TheStampede keep your aperture at 2.0 and set the lights about 45 degrees from you and a bit higher than your eyes, if they are dimmable turn one a quarter less bright and adjust from there I think a good bet for you since you use a cap it would be a ring light that it would be good for the POV shots
