Great video! I want to highlight #3. This technique works for anything fast, not just sweeping (but definitely does work for sweeping!). If a note is not getting played properly, play the sequence to that note over and over again-- make that "bad" note more significant in your head than the others until it becomes locked into muscle memory and you can then "forget it" again in your head it and move to the next problem. Rinse repeat.

When it comes to E shape (that need rolling finger, 3 string for minor, 2 for major, that's the only shape that need rolling finger for sweep arpeggio I think), I prefer to play the fifth on 3rd string and skipping the 2nd string, it's much easier for me (stretching finger is a little bit hard at first but I like to practice it because I like EVH). It also usefull in other situations other than sweeping.

Rolling on the pinkie... I'm trying to avoid that since it so difficult. But is it useful? I've actually never seen it being used. in a musical context.

There is always a musical situation where you probably need a certain movement or technique ☺️ So I try to avoid „avoiding“ these kind of things. But to be more detailed, there are certain 6 and 7 string sweep shapes where you need a pinky roll
