Awesome video! I started playing this week and love the game and competitions. This population tip is exactly what I needed. It’s working great for me. Thankfully the warehouse limit is not affected when the population decreases. Also your videos helped me slow down and accumulate the trains I need before jumping into the next region. Thanks for all your content. I do have one video suggestion. Can you please explain what you prioritize your gems on other than the factory extra item spaces? I’m wondering what the best things to buy with my gems are. Thanks again!

Hi Thanks and glad you're enjoying the game 🙂 yes, I'll look at doing that, until then, the second thing I tend to spend my gems on (after about region 3) is the extra dispatcher, I'm normally sat in a region for so long I don't want to race up the levels so using the gems rather than waiting to go up 30 levels and using the material option is my choice 🙂 just a shame that since this video they've changed things so you are always stuck with plans for every 2 out of 3 upgrades 😪

Hi Mangley Town! Thanks for the tip on building population I've only had the game for the past 3 months and this will really help increase my warehouse at pace. I came across your page from within TS2 as you are in our current union round. (Snowpiercer, Tailie) You're off to a good start with 3500 already good luck this week!

A pleasure, I'm glad it's helped 🙂 I see you 👍 think that's it for this round for me, only need a few hundred more SP for my baby accounts reward ribbon, and still another week to go, so will get the jobs done and just collect 1 next week then hold off till next ribbon, doesn't hurt to let the big unions get out my way for a few rounds 🙂

@mangleytown Using the 5 building method has in 24hrs already got all 5 buildings increased by 5 levels, I can really see the benefits once they get to a level where the population increase for the upgrade is high. My current strategy is to stay in Region 3 to try and keep things simple and having a large warehouse to support easy trades will be a game changer. The union goal this week is to just stay in this league as we cleared all our jobs last week to gain promotion. I've been quite fortunate and have approx 4500 sp waiting to collect when the next reward ribbon starts but we still have to wait 12 days! Thanks again for the building tip 👍

@@scottlm3917 same union position as me 🙂 it's been really handy on my baby account, hit 40/50 population per upgrade just as I was in the 2 x 1000 population per warehouse upgrade zone, only other main tip (which I'm pretty sure you've figured out) stay in a region as long as you can, upgrade and then save as much as you can, reckon baby account will stay in Germany until end of next season, ensure I have minimum 2x each rarity and fuel type of union trains upgraded before the USA, about there already on normal trains, have fun 🙂🙂

@mangleytown small world our paths cross again on TS2 this time with my 2nd account on the train tycoon mini game. But I wont be actively participating as I am not completing jobs at the moment. I hope the spring season was good for you? Hope the baby account is coming on nicely. When the season finished on Monday I left to support my 2nd account and focus on building warehouse capacity to hopefully reduce screen time but still maximize on contributions. I will hopefully rejoin the old union for the autumn season if they will have me back.

@scottlm3917 hi again 🙂 I see you 👍 I wasn't bothered about tycoon this time, put on a few points and no one else bothered ! Lol so spent a bit of time on it, but should be enough now, gold parts are handy, but more interested in the 1500 company points 🙂 not doing much on main account other than 4 hourly freebies and union jobs, spend more time on the baby account ! Tycoon can be easy, the first day you can normally use your last set of event jobs for sending trains, if you complete a job, just don't collect it, I never earn XP in tycoon, also Union jobs still active (done actually playing them for the season) so can use them too, trick is (if you don't need to finish job and make it last longer for tycoon) keep a good selection of un upgraded duplicate trains, have to send 6 electric trains, then 6 un upgraded common is only 24 of an item 🙂👍

Probably a language thingy but I don’t get it at all! Do I toss all the buildings out except 5 of them?

You can keep out any fully upgrade level 150 buildings, but other than that yes, only keep out 5 buildings that need upgrading, it's up to you on whether it's your highest population 5, or a mix with lower buildings, but the aim is to get the buildings to max as soon as possible, as the population gains are more as a building increases it's level, hope that helps

I used the 5 building strategy, but in a different spin. Instead of upgrading all 5 buildings, I use it to focus on upgrading a specific one. It's not as fast, but that's what got me through in Old City Mechanics and that's what allowed me to get too many people in the new one quickly. Also, the graphics of the buildings didn't change, they just happen to have the same names.

I've just done similar, 6 plots left, so fast tracked one building to leave 5, and bringing newest building up to same as the rest so I can max all at the same time for highest population for VP, as will drop down as soon as I start next batch, yes, and although in life all business centres don't look the same, just for OCD purposes they should of made them look the same or call them something different lol

@@mangleytown that's why I put the Region names for the new Bank and Business Center when I write my city stats. Ngl, while it feels slow, it feels like a building is definitely getting max-level with my method. I should be grateful for this feeling that I must max their levels because it *really* helps me boost my population. Looking forward to upgrading all the buildings while making a very diverse city

Almost each time they wanna update any other game i delete it because it wont update after it shows that it did update but the game on start up doesn't finish loading up and its from them updating because their Halloween event Or next it'll be a Thanksgiving or Christmas event that'll not update on here its a bunch of bullshit because they keep doing that shit i think they mean to do that because they can see you've gotten far in the game What updated was the sys 010 that updated but the start up of the game doesn't finish loading so i deleted it because it'll sit there all day with half a yellow load bar and never finish loading up the game and resend methe message to update when i had already did update If the game is that messed up they need to delete it on they're end and quit letting people play the garbage I'd say the best time to try an play the garbage is when there's no Hollidays because thats when it messes up everytime the games only good when you have nothing else to do

I must say the only time I generally have an issue with the updates is when my phone is full, I have to empty my cache on other apps, having said that, the have become very money grabbing ! 😪

Slow play ! I spent about a year in finland collecting my 4 hourly gold, somewhere between lvl 450 & 475 I should have all the trains I need, so I'll sit back for 6 months and just collect gold and parts to upgrade what I need to and save plenty for next country 🙂

@@jackberetta1 you can still do comps, you'll need the higher capacity trains, I can generally get the ones I need by half to three quarters of the way through a region (get the extra dispatcher by then too) then do nothing but free gold coins and parts for 6 to 12 months, get the trains upgraded, and concentrate more on those buildings, at least no XP in unions too 🙂
