Wow, it's been 14 years since this movie . This movie never ages really, compared to other Makoto shinkai movies like Kimi No Na Wa and Tenki no Ko , this might be less good in general view, but for me it sits up top with the other two. I must say that for 2007 standards, it's art was quite beautiful.

First time I watched it was back in 2015 after I had my first broken heart. This is a wonderful piece of work and anyone who is thinking about watching it should definitely do so. The entire movie is superb, and I can't tell you how I feel just now, but I cried, my pants and shirt are soaked with tears, I just can't tell what they're tears of.

This became my favorite movie, and I have watched this trailer over a hundred times. There's a feeling in it I've never ever felt before.. the music, the words, the scenes.. my gosh. For those of you who don't know, there's a manga to read. It is far more detailed, and continues on the story from the movie. The ending of the manga is still not perfect, but it's way better than the anime. Thumbs up so people can see!

i can relate to each and every part of the story so accurately that it amazes me and annoys me, even, it ended up exactly as i am now hoping to see her again but realizing to move on. it made me realize that ive sacrificed something precious in pursuit of adopting typical "normal" lifestyle, if only i could see this anime in 2007 and could have been crazy enough to change my normal life into something precious.
