Some really good ideas. I especially like the spice containers and the Altoids tin carrier!! 😎

I thought it was a simple and cheap way to do the job. It’s worked well for me so far.

Awesome intro screen shot! I need a Hike ALot Tee shirt, sticker, or patch! lol I have my wife use cotton balls when it's time to refresh the wax and carry them a small round container. Called my son in Odessa and put in an order for the Taco Casa bags. Great hacks. Thanks for sharing the tips.

Portion packs for measurement plus spice kits are good hacks. Additionally, they are inexpensive. Many channels seem to assume that the audience has unlimited funds for gear.

Yeah that’s what I was shooting for with this one…..money savers. Glad you found some benefit from it Vince.

darn! I'm in Cali. Not sure where to find these handy bags. Looks like a handy hack though!

Yeah they may be harder to find out there. Sounds like a road trip.

You’re carrying a GALLON of water while hiking??
@Hike-ALOT2 ай бұрын
No but I will filter a gallon at camp at night. I find that is typically enough for what I drink that night as well as use to cook and brush with plus tops off my bottles the next morning before I depart for the trail again. I prefer to do all of the filtering at once for camp instead of filtering every time I empty the bottle.

@@Hike-ALOT that’s a fabulous thing! Is there anything out here in the west that you know of? I’ve never seen anything like that! Any idea?

@@elizabethclark4722 these are pretty close but I’m not certain the threads are the same. If not you’d have to be a bit more careful when you drain into it. amzn.to/47OCNZe
