Since the end of June, IRCC has been conducting category-based Express Entry draws based on occupation and French language proficiency. Check out the 82 prioritized occupations (35 health; 24 STEM; 10 Trade; 10 Transport; 3 agriculture & agri-food). If you work in one of these occupations, you will enjoy lower CRS cutoff scores (such as 463) for PR. If you don't, then you face with higher CRS cutoff scores (such as 511 and 505 in the last two draws). If you are proficient in French, the cutoff score was 375.

Starting in Fall 2023, if you study in French at a DLI outside of greater Montreal area, your tuition (for the entire degree) will be reduced to $3,000 CAD per year. Eligible fields are IT, engineering, social and health services, and education (including early childhood education). International students can work up to 20 hrs/week while studying. Quebec government has allocated $80 million CAD for this program.

@@IniMc This program is funded by Quebec government, trying to increase French students in rural regions of Quebec. To qualify, you must study in French outside of greater Montreal area, and in one of the eligible fields. Your chance of getting PR is great upon graduation. Quebec has its own immigration quota (about 50,000 PR's per year). Quebec does not want to admit too many immigrants and dilute their French culture.

Did the prices at PEI suddenly went really high or what happened 😩… a master in business is 3000 CAD$ per 3 credits… all together is 42 credits so do the math: 3000x14= 42000 CAD for the 42 credits. Not counting extra little fees… Depressed 😞 Thanks though for the info 🙏🏼❣️
