The Pax system is definitely a game changer. And thanks to you Wayna I finally done it. And I love it and Thursday I got the Ikea Alex the wide one for all my jewelry did have them in 2 different over the door Jewelry Armoires but I didn't like them not being together so I got jewelry trays and put them in my nightstand but that wasn't enough room so then I moved them to the Ikea Alex and I got a drawer organizer for my nightstand for all those little things they need to be my bedroom. I'm going to put some purple glittering contact paper on my Ikea Alex. I want to give it some glam and purple is my favorite 💜. My bathroom is small with a counter vanity area that is for a chair but not enough room so I usually keep laundry basket there but one day I got a 💡so I measured and was able to put a small 2 shelf Bookcase there for some storage & decorating. So don't forget about small areas that just might fit a little something. My new years resolution is to be more organized and you have been a great help to get myself there.

Yes, yes! As a woman, when I go to that department, the salesmen make a bee-line toward me; I think it's my confused & apprehensive face, that hesitance & uncertainty in my manner ••• that gives away the fact that I'm out of my element...the salesmen will try to confuse me or/and reassure me that I need everything they are showing me. But the hardest part is figuring out the right way to use power tools and the safest way to handle yourself & handle the equipment. THIS, I would really be able to make use of! 😉👋

You gave me a different way of looking at my shelves. I, too, only have 7 cabinets including under the sink. Difference is there's NO room to add extra pantry space, because they put the washer and dryer in the only kitchen area that could have been a pantry. BUT I thought about those shelves. If i take OUT their shelves, i can add those veriera shelves to put things how i want!!! MOST OF MY WALLS ARE PAINTED CONCRETE. If i use industrial strength velcro, will it harm the wall when i try to take it down?

I’m curious on what the Rental office has to say about your modifications.. did you run it by them what you were going to do to your home (eg. contact paper on cabinets etc.) or you just went with it. I’m sure there has been a maintenance need from time to time. Your space is truly beautiful just curious as I’m a fellow renter and my rental office is very strict about making changes

I've been in my apartment for 4 years and maybe had a maintenance guy in 3 times. They get in and get out, they aren't looking at cabinets or wall color. That said, if you know the office is strict, I would definitely ask before you do anything if you plan on getting your deposit back.

Hello! Subscriber here. Question: I'm rearranging my elder parent's apartment to make everything within their reach. Simply put, the #1 concern is fall accidents. I have pictured how to bring their pantry and closet within their reach. I've been shopping around from closet maid, to ikea cabinets, but still searching. Do you have any suggestions, please? This is very important as I'm trying to avoid my mom from falling and breaking anything on her fragile self. I've already made a makeshift pantry where everything is within her reach, but need to find something more permanent. Thank you for your time and expertise!

I know this is quite late as I just discovered this amazing channel, but why don’t you try those shelving units and drawers that can be pulled down. I have some of them installed for an elderly friend of mine and she says it’s been the best thing ever. You can get some from Amazon and ikea has too.

First you need to declutter and not try to keep everything in a small space. IKEA Trones shoe cabinets are great for all types of storage - not just shoes. I use them to store placemats in the dining room, store containers of kitty food, Mail in the entry area. Just mount a nice piece of wood on top of you want it to look fancier. Have a yoga or exercise mat? IKEA’s plastic bag dispenser is great for mounting your rolled mats. 🙌🏽
