How did that 1 Su Chi block 2 apes? I saw on MTG website: Each creature can only block a single attacker, but multiple defending creatures can block the same attacker. Both players are given a chance to cast instants and activate abilities after blockers have been declared.

Yes, it comes into play as a land. You can tap it straight away for 1 mana or pump another mishra 🎉

It’s actually a colorless land. You can counter a copy artifact with a reb, but you can’t destory it, because once it copies an artifact it takes over the colour as well. It becomes colourless and no longer blue. Re: msihra's factory and copy artifact if you copy an animated mishra's factory you get a non animated mishra's factory. The rulings supporting this: E.4.Ruling.3 - Because of Rule E.4.2, a copy card can copy something that is only of the appropriate type due to an effect. The copy card ignores all effects on the thing it is copying, however. For example, a Clone could target a Chimeric Staff that is currently animated into a creature. This is because the game thinks it is a creature and allows such a target. If it does so, however, the copy is simply the base Chimeric Staff card and it is not a creature (but it does have the Staff's ability to turn into a creature). This is because the copy effect does see past the temporary effect. [CompRules 2001/07/23 - 503.2] 706.2. When copying an object, the copy acquires the copiable values of the original object’s characteristics and, for an object on the stack, choices made when casting or activating it (mode, targets, the value of X, whether it was kicked, how it will affect multiple targets, and so on). The “copiable values” are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, card type, subtype, supertype, expansion symbol, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty), as modified by other copy effects, by “as . . . enters the battlefield” and “as . . . is turned face up” abilities that set characteristics, and by abilities that caused the object to be face down. Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied

@Monkey Rookie Nice. I love The Abyss. Anyway, don't let someone tell you a tapped, blocking Factory doesn't deal damage...unless your playing with pre-6th edition rules.

I think it’s good to have these rules discussions/conversations and figure out how these cards actually work. Mishra’s Factory and Copy Artifact are two very interesting cards. I remember losing not too long ago against a deck that played them both and added a candelabra of tawnos with them. That was a painful experience 😅
