Best video on this extremely important topic that is not natural for foreign speakers to learn.

This was well done. Keep up the good work! I would recommend leaving the subtitles up just a second or two longer and pausing after each sentence, so people have a bit longer to hit pause and read the whole thing.

Thanks very much for your advice, will keep improving in future! In fact, these videos are created to support my article explanation, so basically all dialogues, including pinyin can be found here as well: goo.gl/Jqb787

In Hsk-1,chapter 9,section 3 ,there is a sentence "Ta zai nar ne"? I want to know why "zai nar" and "ne" have been used together when both of them serve the same purpose, that is ,of asking location of something or someone ? And if this sentence is correct and we can use both together then what does it exactly mean ? What does the article "ne" represent when the location has already been inquired of in the previous words :zai nar" ?

Hi there, this is an excellent video, so first of all - thank you! Secondly, I wondered if you can answer a question I have regarding 啊. When you use this "at the end of questions when there’s a need to emphasize your surprising sound or curiosity", must there be a 'question word' in the sentence? In your three examples, you use '怎么', '谁', and '哪里'. But could you replace 吗 with 啊 to have the same effect?

Hiya, a good question indeed:) yes, you can replace '吗' as well. e.g. 你不上学啊nǐ bú shàngxué a?= You're not going to school (sounding surprised)?

You can slow it down yourself on KZbin. Click settings on the video and go to Playback speed. You should really get used to fast talking. What she's doing in this video is nothing near what you'll see when you get out there with this language. Chinese speak REALLY fast, and oftentimes much faster than she's speaking.
