I bought 4 of something and they charged me for 7 - I did get refunded though. Something that is the whole point of the concept yet they can't get it right. I do understand that using ML it will improve with training (more stores), to increase accuracy. But also using RFID tags or in combination with ML sounds so much more simpler.

Hmm...spend RND budget on servicing our own legitimate needs, or service someone else's manufactured needs, _charging_ the operating cost plus markup. I think this is the first time I caught onto what AWS is really doing (now). It's not dogfooding or even vertical integration. It's hyper-scaling to outsource research funding; the self-service evolved from dogfooding to getting kickbacks and now it's just marketing.
