Few things beat being out on the trail, and Nepal is a trekkers paradise. There is of course the famous trek of The Annapurna Trail & Everest Basecamp, but, on the recommendation of local trekkers, we gambled on a lesser know trail to find out if we could satisfy our fascination with the Himalayas.
In this film, we risk monsoon season and take on Mardi Himal, a 5-day trek, deep into the mountains to climb the highest summit we’ve ever reached. But this isn’t just a film about trekking. It’s a story about new friends on old mountains, and we discover that it’s not just the summit that makes a hike special, it’s the people you share the journey with.

@@JitsIntoTheSunset If you finished trekking Mardi and still at pokhara you must not miss kapuche lake. The lowest altitude glacier lake takes you two days 1st day pokhara to sikles takes 4hr ride and you stay overnight at sikles village . Next day you check out early morning start your trek from 7 or 8 am it takes usually 8 hrs to reach kapuche lake. And if you guys are lucky enough the next morning around 7am to 8am you can capture a beautiful and not so dangerous scenario of the avalanche. Except for the shot of the leech's work, so many beautiful scenes of your crew "making it a day". I loved the scene where Tania was talking about only using a bit of the wifi. I hope you revisit the idea of "disconnecting" not just from the wifi, but maybe even your devices during a portion of the day so you can relax or not be tempted to work. How practical is it and to what degree can it be done as your manage business? Even if it is just a couple hours before bed, for some people turning off their phones would result in a panic attack. 😅That said, thanks to anyone and everyone who lugged equipment up the trails so you could make this video confection for the channel. 👍
