Has to be one of the best and most fun videos of touring Iceland. But gotta say, so funny how you have to keep repeating what the other say's, especially you Adam, hahaha, we can hear and understand what Tania is saying thanks very much lol! Must be a man thing ;-)

This goes to show you no amount of money, creature comforts or the number of porters can guarantee a successful summit.

I'm attempting this climb in March 2025. I would love to do something similar to this awesome video. Can I ask what video gear you used and any challenges you had with the gear? What would you do differently? THANK YOU!!!

Dear Tania & Adam, thanks a lot for all this information. It has helped me to gather more insights for my personal Kili-adventure. Great job! And now for everyone else: In case someone is interested - I am looking for a hiking partner for the Northern Circuit Route up Kilimanjaro. At this moment, I am only by myself, but I would like to open a group tour. The tour company is Nafika Tours. Dec 21 - 29 (9 days) A little about me: Female, 44 years old, vegan, likes to read, gentle soul, physically fit, adventurous If you're also planning a trip to Kilimanjaro and would like to join, drop me a message, and we can chat more about details! Looking forward to hearing from you!

I did this trek back in 2022 with Jou trekking and had Lim as my guide too! They are without a doubt the best company to use for this trek. I had a Garmin fénix watch and got the following stats for the 3 day 2 night summit trek: Total Distance: 19.68 miles, Total Trekking Time: 17 hours 28 minutes, Total Ascent: 10,095 feet, Total Descent: 11,928 feet, Average Moving Pace: 18:45 per mile. One difference with my trek was for day 2. I woke up at 2am, did the summit, made it down to the crater lake shore for lunch, then hiked up the other side of the rim to camp for the second night all in one day. Hiking up to the other side of the rim was the hardest part for me because it was so steep. It practically turned into a cliff. There were literally ropes and makeshift metal pole ladders to use because of the steep terrain. This is where the most accidents (some fatal) occur. Day 3 for me was the hike down the rim which me and Lim ran down from the top of the rim to the trail head in just a few hours. Thanks for unlocking memories of this trek for me!

Goosebumps. After this video Bhutan has skyrocketed to the top of my bucketlist. I hope it will stay like this forever, even if that means they'll have to restrict tourism in the future and I'll never be able to go

1:23 shloka sounds Hindu, not Buddhist of any sort. Then at 19:30, that is a Hindustani raga, nothing Himalayan about it. Just saying...
