What brand and how much b and omega 3 do you take.?

@@ejarvis9337 The brands I use for all of them vary depending what is in stock. Designs for Health, Thorne, Pure Encapsulation, Vital Nutrients. That's for the primary ones. But hopefully, the video conveyed that whole foods sources were the best sources. For B6, B12, Folate I sometime take a multi from PE or Homocysteine Supreme from DFH. Vitamin D (with k2) and magnesium (separately from DFH).

That's so sad. My grandson is low on the Autism spectrum. It was difficult when he was little, but it seems now that he is, emotionally, about two years behind his contemporaries. He is intelligent and in honors classes in HS, but I still worry for him. Thank you for addressing this from a nutritional perspective.

I'm 71, I've been on Keto for 1 year. My previous diet was plant based, fruit cheese and few eggs. I also believed the mantra "low fat" so for 45 years I only had skim powdered milk. I'm not a takeaway, lolly and sugar dense foods. All my cholesterol levels were over the past years were 3.5

I’m glad I discovered you.. via the KZbin algorithm..I’d like to suggest what might be a “winning formula/format” for your videos would be: first say “to get this, do this”.. *then* explain why and the details

I appreciate that. Thanks.

When I was pregnant I worked with a Ph.D in nutrition who adjusted my nutritional supplements at different gestational stages, rather than just one size fits all prenatal vitamins. 3-6 oz of liver per week supplies all the B vitamins required.

I love your channel, I live in Europe, Spain, I am wondering where I could get my labs done or could a regular doctor ask these tests? Or do you work with people from Europe?
@DrKarlGoldkamp-KetoNaturopath3 жыл бұрын
I get asked that a lot. I don't have pat answer for that. I can only think that there must be similar labs, and doctors doing what I do.

Hi. I live in Switzerland and my doc usually goes through German labs (Biovis or IMD have such genetic tests, I got mine from Biovis). Synlab is another one and they are present in Spain, but you would have to check their offerings. Good luck

So how does one address toxins of fish if one has polymorphisms? I know I have hetero of CBS, mthfr 1298 677 etc. I struggle with low d, take b complex but no omega 3. I have heard the omega 3 supplements become rancid easily. Will there still be benefit if one eats fish but then uses a binder to pull metals?

Pl get your thyroid profile done. One of the causes for high cholesterol is hypo thyroidism.
@esvajcarac35273 жыл бұрын
according to new research here in europe, it seems the only important marker are the triglycerides. if they are high, you need to do something about it. LDL not to worry about, especially when the HDL/LDL ratio is ok. you could also have a look at the LDL size, the “bad” LDL is the very small particles, VLDL. best wishes for you and your health
