Luffy’s true abilities were kinda foreshadowed with how he was somehow able to imitate Ace’s fire fist with his red hawk, since he’s somehow able to produce actual fire. It would make sense if the awakening was simply a transformation allowing for easier access to the true power but Luffy was still able to use the imagination aspect to an extent, since Luffy inherited Ace’s will after his passing, it made a sliver of his true power show itself with him developing a portion of the powers of the flame fruit, it also backs the theory that Shanks knew all along as a member of Roger’s crew (which is why he went out of his way to steal it) and the only reason Luffy developed it in the form of a rubber power was because after eating the fruit, Shanks grabbed onto his hand and he was trying to pull away as he was walking leading to his hand stretching, and so Shanks simply reinforced this by telling him it was a rubber power so Luffy wouldn’t unlock the full power too soon without proper preparation and experience.

The Bari Bari no Mi is so underrated and overpowered because the barriers are unbreakable, so even if you have haki you won't be able to scrach it. And in theory you can make the barriers into 3D objects in the shape of swords, clubs, cannonball, or even a boat. I am quite disappointed it didn't make this list because the possibilities are endless

I think it would have to be awakened to create objects that are both immovable objects(his df type) but also able to move freely like what any tool or weapon would need to be able to do to preform their function. I think it's incapable of nearly every good use it could have before then. It might be possible to still use it as part of a super weapon when not awakened with a scientist's deliberate application.

Personally i think Enel has the most overpowered fruit. - It makes you able to levitate - move at the speed of lightning - traverse through solid matter like gold - heat objects and transform them - charge objects (for instance on blue seas you can have a flying ship etc) - throwing lightning from across an island - enhance observation haki - revive yourself if your heart stops (or get up easier when knocked down such as after Enel's defeat he was quickly up again) - becoming an lightning deity (Amaru) - Incredibly destructive at high output - Also just being a logia makes u incredibly tricky to most people.

Greenbulls fruit is quite OP when you consider all the unusual plantation in one piece. Imagine if greenbull could grow wood like the Adam tree. Or create ship coatings from sabody to protect himself if he ever fell into the sea. He should technically be able to make food since ussop was on an island where the plant life was food.

Law's DF not being on the list is surprising. I would consider this the only devil fruit to have as much potential as Luffy's fruit. According to the latest SBS regarding Law's DF "The user can do whatever his heart desire within the room" which was obvious enough. We have even seen him remove sound within the room during the fight with Big Mom. That's only scratching the tip of the iceberg of what this fruit can do.

I legitimately thought the #1 Devil Fruit would be the Uta Uta no Mi. A fruit with the ability to put anyone to sleep just by listening to their voice, and then control the people completely and perfectly. The World she places people in she can freely change reality in, and with enough ability can affect the real world (the Demon King for example). Even if you do expect her and use ear plugs, that still takes out communication. Without Uta using Haki it took 2 Yonko crews and their captains, the Marines, and an additional Yonko crew to beat her. Had Uta arrived at Marineford unexpectedly no one would've really stood a chance. If the user dies without her release, all the people asleep stay there permanently along with her. Add haki to this, and it's completely broken.

I think Luffy's DF is still the most OP. His DF is a reality warping type. I watched other anime with this power and they are all God powered. If my hint is correct one of ultimate power of Luffy's DF is that he can imitate all DF powers, so he can utliized Kuma's DF or Dr vegapunk DF if he wishes too. Or even can create everything and destroy everything. The only power that can counter Luffy is Buggy's very luck. Extreme luck can turn anyone around his circle. I'm not sure if being lucky is a side effect of Buggy's DF but his DF might also be an OP. He awakening is he might be able to split himself in to a nano scale or even into a smallest particle where even the atoms and waves of energy cannot even touch him. Like Ant Man. I think the yomi yomi no mi is heavily underrated. Imagine shanks or roger, or garp or Mihawk eating the yomi fruit while they were young but being unsure what it did. Losing the ability to swim but still growing up to be the powerful pirates and swordsmen that they were. Once they died they would then come back and have another lifetime worth of time to train and push their skills and haki further as well as add a whole new set of skills that allow you to manipulate your own soul and the cold. There are some categories of devil fruits where any that fall under it becomes OP. 1 Repel / Attract 2 Bring imagination to life 3 Effect Soul / Aging The ability to repel or attract things is crazy cause then you can apply all the stuff you said about the Paw Paw Fruit. For example Fujitora's gravity fruit could attract or repel anything, if your imagination can apply that gravity to intangible things then it becomes almost the same as how you explained Kuma's fruit. Any fruit where you can draw, speak, think, etc your imagination into existence is just OP in general. If you have any creative talent then you can essentially beat anyone until Haki gets involved. Any power that involves aging or the soul becomes highly powerful as you explained with Big Mom's fruit. You can add Sugar and Perona and Brook here. Another to add here is a fruit most don't remember but the rust rust fruit which if you are able to corrode cells becomes stupid OP especially if you can effect the environment or living things. One thing about the Brain Brain Fruit though is most of his knowledge was learned or applied knowledge so you would need study materials to get the most out of it unless you awakened it in the way you explained and could gain other's thoughts/memories/knowledge just by being in their vicinity or touching them. Anyways nice list, picking 5 is very hard given all the fruits that are known in the universe Oda created.

I believe that another strong fruit is the gravity fruit. just think that he can literally immobilize any creature and any thing lift into the sky and soar thanks to the power of his fruit. most likely Oda does not quite understand how Gravity works and therefore gave not quite objective powers to this fruit, but, nevertheless, I believe that the abilities of this fruit are more like a directed force than gravity. That is, the owner of the fruit can set the Vector to the force that will affect any object, thanks to which he can change the direction of any attack, which greatly helps in the battle and the conduct of any strategic battles. Also, I want to take into account that the owner of this fruit was able to summon a meteorite, which was clearly not very close to the planet on which the anime event takes place. So I would also like to hear your thoughts about this fruit.

The Fude is very similar to the Bake-danuki fruit as both can create pretty much anything the user wants from drawing. I feel the Bake-danuki is more powerful because all the user needs to do is draw on leaves and they can even create an entire environment. Plus, it's a Mythical Zoan so definitely the strength boost that comes with it. Of course, that's a non-canon df that only appeared in a video game but I was just pointing out it exists (from looking at the wiki) and it so effective as well.

Sugar's honestly deserves a spot beyond a mention, it's one of the few abilities that seem to have either some workaround or loophole in the whole 'haki trumps Devil Fruit powers' thing that has been so prevalent recently. Oda may retcon it to be affected in the same way but honestly considering how important she was to Doffy's entire operation and the location of his kingdom, that being the New World, that apparent haki resistance present in her toy-turning and memory-reality warping powers should probably get her on here by default. Though that is just my opinion and I can see why you put the ones you did above hers, it just isn't something I fully agree with personally. Basically this. That "strong enough haki trump's devil fruit" stance has to not apply to her by default otherwise doffys plan which depended largely on her using it would've never worked in the first place. Certainly not for literally years. He'd have essentially been gambling his entire plan everytime he had her use it on anyone because it would only take one strong haki user to reset it and knock her unconscious immediately after, freeing everyone else.

Decent DFs that would be handy in certain situations. Sensor-Sensor Fruit. A fruit that can sense virtually everything around you. you can see if anyone is sneaking in your home, behind you or if your dishwasher ain't working! You can even tell what your opponent is about to do like Observation haki. Chrome-Chrome Fruit. A fruit that can change, add or remove colour to/from surfaces. This could be used to trick an enemy or a random person. You can disorient your opp when in a pitch black room by adding the colours yellow,blue,red,white,green,etc. This could even let you sneak past super strong opps. the only weakness is blind people and people with observation haki bc they cant see and they can tell what you do no matter what.

You forgot to mention that paw-paw fruit can somewhat "teleport" people to other location across the earth. Imagine if the user teleport you to the bottom of the sea, its one shot kill for any DF user or anyone really. Or perhaps it can repell lifespan? Well unless Kuma has been underwater, he can't send you there. As revealed by both Sentamaru and Iva, Kuma has to have been or know the place to go to in order to send you there. So unless he has been to Fishman Island or the sea around it, he can't just send you to the bottom of the sea. He can definitely place you over the sea he has been to though.

I made up an op devil fruit that I call devils flower were the user basically has all control over other devil fruits, for example it can take the devil fruit ability of another devil fruit user away and turn it back into a devil fruit as long as the user is touching the other user of devil fruits, in addition if the devil fruit user has awakened his/her devil fruit before this event takes place then they consume the same fruit again they then have to awaken it all over again, plus it can also alow the user to see the locations of were devil fruit activity is taking place and wich devil fruit is being activated, and it can also enhance the abilities of other devil fruits in different ways depending on the fruit for about a minute but they are then weekend afterwards as a side effect, and it is also somewhat a logic fruit as well not just a paramicia type because the user can turn into any devil fruit that hasn't bean eaten this can be any percentage of these uneaten fruits or just one but if it's one then it's a zoan type so the type of fruit it is is its own, the morphic type an entire devil fruit type just for one devil fruit feel free to ad more to it in the replys
