I personally don't have problems with words individually, my main problem is to get to link some sounds during speaking (different words) for instance, "I asked you" "While you're..." "changed my..." etc. It'd be interesting if you come up with a video like this. Thanks for helping us.

Hi Gabby! I want to say thank you for all the valuable information here on KZbin. I was wondering when are you going to be releasing the Go Natural English course? I love English! I graduated from college a few days ago and got my degree in both English translation and communication. I can pretty much hold my own weight when it comes to having conversations with native English speakers. The only thing I've been struggling with is pronouncing words like order, shorter, border....etc. Do you have any suggestions on how can I improve my pronunciation specifically with these types of words? My native language is Arabic by the way :) Thanks, Gabby :)

I'm an English learner and I feel pretty confident with my pronunciation after a few years of continuous self-learning. My strategies are: Learn how to read IPA + match your pronunciation with native speakers (try youglish.com) + train your ears by listening to songs, podcasts, watching movies, TV shows, news, KZbin, etc + train your mouth by practicing more advanced technique such as flapped T, dark L, reductions, linking, glottal stop, dropped consonants, silent letters, etc to make you sound more natural when speaking + practice imitation and record yourself.

Hi Gabby Definitely "th" and "r" sounds are the most difficult for Brazilians. But I usually have some problems to pronounce words like "pattern". It not clear for me if this double t in the middle of the word. Sometime the sound is like "d" or a mix of "d" and "r".

@pahmi thoriq Cotton and button are pronounced with glottal stops in place of T, not a flapped D. The rule is that if the T is between two vowel or diphthong sounds, or after an R and before a vowel or diphthong, it will be flapped. If it's followed by a syllabic consonant, ends a word when the next word begins with a consonant, or it ends a thought group, it becomes a glottal stop. If it starts a stressed syllable or comes in certain consonant clusters, it will be true. And if it comes after N or in other consonant clusters, it will be dropped
