From a non native speaker, I can tell the English spoken in this video is more understood. I know people don´t talk like this in the real life, but one think I am sure, who speaks like this, will get more attention from the listener than any other speaker. Thanks for sharing this video.

Thanks teacher Gabby for noticing my comment. Speaking English and interacting especially with native speakers is always a struggle, it is a flight and fight situation for me wherein flight becomes the obvious choice. Fear is one factor that’s holding me back, another one is because of limited English vocabularies. I prefer watcing movies in Netflix or Turner Classic movies with subtitles which I ended up reading rather than listening actively. I always have my phone beside me. I google every word I don’t understand while the movie is in pause😄 My goal is to feel comfortable speaking and listening to all English speaker and through this channel it is attainable. Power on!!!😍👍

@@saintraphael4930 yes determination is a great factor in achieving fluency or just being comfortable interacting with native speakers, mistakes do happen as long as you learn from those mistakes that’s fine. What I’m trying to achieve is to conquer my fear and be comfortable with any English language interactions. Patience is a virtue and practice makes perfect.

It's an amazing experience. I myself hate conventional English classes and Text books. These classes not at all help a learner learn English in the real context, the teachers are far from reality. Learning English doesn't need a graded school syllabus which kills an active learner. We all must chart a route to face the real world. I'll watch this video for a number of times more to confirm myself that you give the voice to my mute words.

@@saintraphael4930 Grammar is essential no doubt, but learning a language is not like an opening with math. It's to be tuned to your ears. Listening skill with reading skill has to be cultivated in perfect balance with a simultaneous approach to conversational skill. Unless you start using your tongue from the very beginning a certain shyness will set in you making you panicky before others. Language learning is a performing art for which you need to go for rigorous and unbiased rehearsal, only difference is that it has no final stage rehearsal. Fluency, if ignored won't escort you to the target. But one should definitely stick to the basics as rightly pointed by you.

The problem is that English is not a lingua franca. It's a national language that has grown into an international language. For example, how would you translate "having cream tea" into another language? It's an English tradition. I guess many Americans don't even know what it is!
