he was actually one of the cards I strongly considered talking about! For awhile Zwart Defeat got splashed in a bunch of decks just cus he was a solid security threat, I feel like MedievalGallant woulda easily been a staple too!

I have had some success using Cannondramon as a secondary Mega in Gammamon decks, particularly since KausGammamon in tandem with CanoWeissmon let's you have Evade, meaning he can just sit there deleting things and if he would be removed, he just suspends

Believe or not victory Greymon has seen minor play in Ex5 meta due to board swarm being related playstyle . Medevialgallantmon should be on the list

I feel like I've seen cannondramon in a Chessmon list and I know Black Gargomon can enable an otk in the rabbit deck so at least they have something going for them. I was really happy and am still happy I pulled the VictoryGreymon alt art in my EX4 box. It's beautiful art and I really love it's effect (maybe that has to do with being a gallant player?) but yeah it's been a real tough one to wrap my mind around when it comes to trying to build a deck that it functions with. Shame because Victory has one of the best forms of removal in read despite read having imo generally weak removal options compared to most colors.

Dude I have the alters for both VictoryGrey and BMG in the front of my binder, they look so good 😭 ive even considered trying BMG in Machinedramon but the 5 evo cost is frustratingly steep. I feel like once MGM Ace came out it was the last nail in the coffin for him, Ace just does pretty much everything better 😞

@@AvidHerpetologist Ace is even the enabler of the otk. I think it uses the option from EX4 to digivolve for cheaper. Digital translator I believe.

Do you know of a list or video describing this otk anywhere? I'd love to find out more about it, I think Blackmegagargo is so cool, and I've always wanted to make Digital Translator work

@@straightXjessedge Oh shoot I replied to this but now I don't see it. basically my friends in my small digimon discord talked about getting sec attack +1 on Gargomon Ace > attack the unsupend> then translator into BlackMegagargomon to attack again> then attack with a smaller digimon causing Black to unsuspend and attack for game. It's kinda a lot though for the speed of the game atm.

ngl, DinoRexMon would have been huge if it had 1 main change (This card is treated as having Tyrannomon in its name) if it just had that one sentence, then it would have been a complete staple in Tyrannomon decks easily as a side mega to Rust for a bit of variation.

Ive made that exact argument before. As it stands he just doesnt have a strategy he fits cleanly into. He still does like... okay? In Tyranno lists but theres very little incentive to play him over other alternatives

i think ex4 megagargo is still a good card it just needs cards to go directly with it and help tuner out more bodies, the new typhoon option card helps with this but i think it needs a whole line to help support its more defensive play style and in combination with the ace magegargomon it could be a serious threat being able to both stun and block with ease

What format would clavis have possibly been good in. His -4k doesnt even pop rookie rush mons. At best it could've been another defensive tool for bt6 maste but is already outclassed by dynasmon

out of curiosity vitorigreymon is a reincarnation digimon in the story RvsL the protagonist's gallantmon died and revived in vitorygreymon

Havent heard that before! But tbh if theyd given VictoryGrey an effect that makes its name count as having "Gallantmon" in it it prob would be seeing play in that archetype, even now
