On #3 if they didn’t see the truck, they obviously wouldn’t have been able to get the license plate number. On #2 how can you let him go when he had the girl in the car? They said lack of evidence. Isn’t the evidence the victim in the car? So sad because all the cases could have been solved so much earlier.

Yes, what the heck was that "lack of evidence" about? She was abducted from a post-office, and she was in his car and rescued by the police who stopped him. Good grief... 😡

I don't understand why people get all paranoid when the subject of the "government" having a sample of their DNA comes up. I did genealogy testing and signed the paper that said my DNA can be used. If them having my DNA could help solve a cold case and bring peace to a suffering family who wonders what happened to their loved one, I'm all for it

People had the exact same reaction to photo ID's, fingerprinting, and even Social Security numbers. New things = scary. Plus there are plenty of people who make money by capitalizing on those fears. They'll fade and we'll accept the new technology as useful, same as all the other times.

Hold on. Cherry called her parents voice mail and left messages instead of calling the police? And her parents drove 130+ miles instead of calling the police ? Im sorry but what ? What if she had still been alive when they heard the messages but died because it took them X amount of time to drive there, find her, get the neighbours to call the police/ambulance. And I'm curious about the "when the neighbours called the police they were there within minutes". I don't want to shame the victim or the parents but..... it looks like they all did everything in their power to not keep her alive.
