I’m guessing the intruder in the third story did see the kid, soon after they opened the closet, as they did not rummage through the closet looking for the kid as they had done with the bedsheets. The 20 or so seconds of standing there was the intruder probably deciding what to do with the kid, eventually deciding they weren’t going to harm a child.

I couldn't imagine hearing a voice in the woods and walking toward it. There are so many red flags in these stories that people ignore. It literally makes my skin crawl
@xtherealest11 ай бұрын
It's better to be always prepared. You never know what kind of wierdo you'll encounter. I remember that when I was maybe like 5 or 6 I was at grandma's place of my childhood friend. I don't even remember if it was the grandma's birthday or something but I remember we went out playing on a playground just like normal kids would. We went back in and it was already getting dark. I remember we went in for like a minute or two to just say goodbye and we were about to leave. I put my shoes on and I went to the front door. Just to specify it was a block of flats so you got like 7 flats on top of each other and you have the front door of your flat and then the front door of the entire building and I went to the front door of the building, my friend and her mother were putting their shoes on and as soon as I got to the front door I totally froze. There was a guy that was I'd say in his late 40s and he was waving money in my face and with hand signals telling me to go outside to get the money. My parents always told me to not open the door or go with anyone that wants to give me money or candy or anything else. I got really scared. As soon as I unfroze I was running back to the front door of the flat as fast as I could where her mother and my friend were already ready to leave. I didn't say a word. I was so scared that when we leave he will kidnap us all 3, it was just two 5 or 6 year old kids with a mother. We would be an easy target. We went to the front door of the building and it was literally just like 5 seconds until we got to the front door to the outside and I remember my heart beating like crazy but to my surprise when we got to the door there wasn't anyone. Literally in 5 seconds he totally disappeared. I didn't know if I should say anything or no but I was still in shock and just kept my mouth closed hoping that the wierdo isn't waiting somewhere in the bushes. I never encoutered that man again but it was hella creepy going back home. We went to the friends house and my friends mother asked me if I can make it back home by myself and I hesitated for a while she knew I was hesitant about it but then I said yes that I'll go by myself. We were literally a minute of walking away from each other so like a man I said I'll go alone. I guess she saw I was hesitant at first so she said she will go with me just in case. I never told her or my parents what happened but it was creepy. That guy was probably watching us on the playground somewhere from the distance and hoped that after we went inside we just went to drink something and got back outside. It couldn't be a coincidence that he was there. When I got first to the door he was already there with the bill in his hand waving at me with it. I think it was 2012 at that time. I recalled the story some time ago and searched on google about kidnapping in my city. A case from 2012 showed up, some little girl was kidnapped and never found. Who knows, maybe it was the same guy. I'm a dumbass I should've told my friends mother and if we alerted the police there's a pedo around trying to lure kids maybe they would catch him and that kidnapping wouldn't happen. I escaped death that day by not opening the door. That thing creeps me out to this day. Now I often go out in the dark it's kinda calming when you walk around at night. Knowing what happened to me It's wierd that I often see kids out when its already dark. My parents wouldn't let me be out when it was already dark and they definitely knew why. I haven't heard of a kidnapping ever since so that is possitive but it won't leave my head, the fact that maybe if I told someone and we went to the police to explain I would maybe prevent someone's kidnapping and then death.

That first one, with him seemingly hallucinating his sister's voice calling for him - something similar happened to me a few years ago. I was at college, and I excused myself from class to go to the bathroom. When I entered the bathroom, there weren't any other girls in there, no cubicles were taken up or anything. The door to the bathroom is also very noisy, so you'd hear someone coming in or leaving if they did. I was sitting, doing my business, when clear as day I heard my friend/classmate - we'll call her Laura - call my name. "Becca?" Confused, having not heard the door open, I called back "Yeah?" No answer. I quickly finished up and opened the cubicle door; nobody was there, and I didn't hear anyone leave. Weirded out, I washed my hands and hurried back to class, and asked Laura if she came looking for me in there. She just gave me a confused look and said "No?", so I explained what happened. She and our other friend, "Carrie", looked concerned, but we eventually just brushed it off as me hearing things. I still think about it, though. It echoed as if it was really there, and it was unmistakably Laura's voice.

That happens to me so often I’ve gotten used to it. It’s been happening to me since I was a kid. I can hear full conversations, enough to make out what they’re saying, and it be no one. We live in a basement apartment. My mom’s room is on the opposite side of the house. I’m in the direct centre, and there are no windows nearby. One could argue that it’s a tv upstairs, but our landlords go to bed super early and their room is on my mom’s side. The voices sound like my dad and grandma who don’t even live with us. Even sleeping with a loud fan on, I’ll still get woken up sometimes by someone calling my name. Sometimes, it’s enough for me to get up and actually go into the living room before fully realizing that it’s just auditory hallucinations.

I had gone to sleep but was always a fairly light sleeper, so I woke up around 3 AM to footsteps on the main floor of the house (which was above my bedroom.) My first instinct was to very quietly get out of bed and go into the closet, then text my parents to see if it was them. Took them a good ten minutes to get back to me, which was extremely tense. I asked him if it was from his fall last night. He gave me a weird look and said “I slept well last night and never got out of bed”.. The first story doesn't surprise me at all. I once hallucinated the sound of a flock of birds taking off in my room, followed by the sound of something falling from my wardrobe. I got out of bed and walked over to the wardrobe, suspecting I had hallucinated but wanting to confirm. (Indeed I had.) This happened while I was relatively alert; I was in bed but I had been awake for some time, and was aware of my surroundings. Another time I hallucinated my mother telling out to me "Nick, where's Laura [my sister] sleeping?" It was so vivid I opened my mouth to respond before I realised it wasn't real. I love it when that happens. It's an exploration into alternative states of mind.

Always freaky when I have to share a hotel room with her and she starts answering non existent questions in her sleep, I usually wake her up when that happens.

I know exactly what you mean, once I heard the sound of a random kiss from nowhere coming from my room in the night, and then a few days after a round of applause coming from my closet. This was when I was 12.

I once had an hallucinations that was scary as hell. I was up late and fell asleep but woke up at around 3 or 4 o clock for no apparent reason. I looked towards my door and it was open. there was a figure right by the door facing me that I couldn’t really define any features of other than the fact that it seemed to be a figure of a person in a long white gown. I instantly for some reason in my sleepy state got out of bed. And the figure was no longer there. So I went to the door and looked into my hallway and the figure was right there facing me in its long white gown. That’s when my hallucination vanished and I came back to reality and screamed. The scream woke up my parents which ends the scary part. But I still think about that now 5 years later with no other incidents and wonder wtf that was but my parents still remember me waking them up with a scream so I know it’s still something that happened

I’ve hallucinated before too. When I was young and slept at my aunties house one night. It was like 5am on a summer’s morning so it was already light and I hallucinated the presence of something in her room trying to prod me with a needle or some other sharp instrument while I lay in bed. It was so weird

My house was set up exactly like the first story with the couch. My cat and I one night thought it would be a great idea to shut off all the lights and watch scary movies. It was his idea not mine btw. I kept hearing little noises behind me during the movie and just thought I was scaring myself. I was laying on my back on the couch and my cat was laying on my chest. I had to turn my head to see the t.v. Now before this I believed animals and children could see spirits. So when I watched as my cat was staring at something from behind the couch, it started giving me the creeps. He wouldn't turn his head for anything no matter what I said or did, he just stared. After a few long minutes I watched as he slowly moved his head as if he was following something slowly moving, he turned his head and stopped right above my head. He was staring at something above my head. I was frozen for a good 60 seconds, jumped up and turned on all the lights. Needless to say, I moved my couch against a wall after that

“It was my cats idea to watch a scary movie” lmao btw my cat does that sometimes, he stares at the ceiling and moves his head around a bit. I usually joke that he’s seeing demons but the room is pretty small so obviously I can see what he’s staring at and usually it’s literally nothing, almost like he sees through the walls or something.

I don't think you understand that bravery on those situations is a double edged sword, you either get killed or get lucky enough to deal with the intruder, wouldn't personally want to bet my life on a 50/50

Been watching Mr. Nightmare since 200k. I can recite almost every single video and story from his channel including the unlisted ones from all the marathons I've had watching/listening. Sometimes I miss his older videos with the grainy microphone because it added to the eeriness but nonetheless he's the scary story GOAT.

i was camping with 2 friends for 2 nights in this pretty popular but still pretty quiet & isolated place near a beach. we had just set out our camps, and both of my friends wanted to go out on a rowboat at night, because they had never done it before. the boat was kinda shoddy and couldn't fit a third guy anyways, so i told them i would stay behind and act as their lighthouse for when they wanted to come back. they rowed away into the distance and around some little islets, and i was left behind, alone. i just whipped my phone out and started watching netflix while waiting to see their lights again. well, after about 15 minutes of watching prison break, i started hearing these weird rustling sounds coming from the reeds nearby on the beach. at first i figured it was nothing, then i thought it was an animal, and then i just wanted to see it for myself. i took my flashlight out and pointed it at the reeds, and the noise stopped and i saw absolutely nothing. i walked around a little, tried to look in from different angles, but saw absolutely nothing. i figured i was disturbing some bird building its nest, so i just gave up and continued watching the show. in 5 minutes, the sound started again, and since it was distracting me from the show, i picked up a rock and threw it at the reeds expecting a bird to flap away. nah, i just heard the stone hitting the reeds and then splashing in the water. the noise stopped, but i heard a little splashing and -- i fucking kid you not -- something threw a pebble back towards my direction from there. i mean, this was in the water, and i had heard it for 20 minutes now. and it was like 12 pm and we were out in the wild. i stood up and used my flashlight again, and said loudly & sternly "hey, come out right now!". no response, and no sounds at all. at this point i saw my friends' light in the distance, and i just started signaling my position to them. as they got closer, i started yelling "there's someone here, fucking hurry!" and it only took them a couple of minutes to get back. i told them about the sounds and about the stone that was thrown at my direction, and together we looked around and even took the boat right to the edge of these reeds, and we didn't see or hear anything. we went back to our little camp, and i fell asleep pretty fast feeling safe with my friends.. but in like an hour i woke up to my friend opening the zipper to my tent and whispering "we have to go now, i think it's that guy you heard". we left the camp and our tents behind and walked back to the parking lot a few hundred meters away. there, my friends told me they both woke up to sounds of small pebbles being thrown at their tents. they were just tiny little stones that flicked right off, but this shit freaked us all out completely. none of us saw anything. we went back to get out stuff in the morning, and it was all intact and undisturbed. it's like some THING was only there to play with our minds.

I got a story that’s almost similar to the first story. Imma first tell the layout of our house so that you can imagine the scenario. We live in an apartment building where the staircase is inside the building. The end of the staircase leads to a gate in the last floor where our apartment is in. It was during the night and my mom went outside to the gardens to tend on something. And later on I went a floor down to hang out with our neighbors. Some time later my mom comes back up and sees the gates were locked, thinking that I was still just inside (cause we usually lock our gates even if we’re at home) my mom knocks on the wall and starts calling out for my name. She then apparently heard my voice from the inside of our apartment answering back “yes, hold on!”. But the gates never opened so my mom became more irritated and started knocking louder while shouting for my name. And by pure coincidence I decided to go back home. And while walking up the stairs I could hear my mom’s voice. I then called out for her and she turns around looking very confused while I was opening the gates. My mom then explains what all that happened and needless to say we were both very spooked that night.
