1:01 knee to low pounds (for good pounding) 1:51 pocket dribble (for protection) 2:38 over the line east-west, north-south (for direction manipulation) 3:33 right hand-left hand: cross-overs, b/t legs, b/h back (for speed) 4:11 spaz out drill - mix up all four drills for 30s (to build spontaneity)

I like coach Drew; I think he has a knack for instilling the right mindset in players as well as having a fundamentally sound approach to developing players, as seen here, for instance, where he implicates the importance of having maximum manipulative control over basic dribbles. All the stated, I think when juxtaposed to some of the other prominent trainers , i.e. Lancaster, Sackmann, Fabritz and Relph, his personal skillset doesn't match-up with the way the game is evolving---ergo, in fastly growing, guard-skill centric league, I feel as though Drew is better at Coaching post-moves and forwards.

What do you think is a good amount of time to do these drills for someone with average handles? I do 2 and a half minutes per hand
@faceless-x-abberation8400
@faceless-x-abberation8400 3 жыл бұрын
Very good question. I assume the best amount of time is as much as you have the patience for. The more the merrier I imagine. That’s my problem with doing dribbling drills because I lose patience and jump back into practicing my shot every time. Gotta have self control and dedication.
