5 Drills to Improve at Rollerskating! *Challenge your skating skills!*

How to improve at roller skating: 5 easy drills to learn how to roller skate. All of these are simple things you can do on skates improve your rollerskating and learn new skills on roller skates! You can practice these anywhere on flatground: outside, at home, at a rink, etc. These are things that helped me improve at skating! Great for getting quicker on your skates, both agility and speed with control as a quad skater.

In this tutorial, I will teach you five drills including how to do cross overs, sidestance on rollerskates, how to do line transitions facing forward (both directions!), how to do back to back transitions (forwards and backwards), and how to toe stop run on roller skates. All of these roller skating drills will help you improve your skills on rollerskates and if you're interested in playing roller derby, becoming a roller derby skater, jammer, blocker & joining a roller derby team- these are drills I highly recommend practicing as a rollerskater! In this video I teach each drill, demonstrate how to do it, and give you tips along the way!

Been a skater for many years but as life has it I have not skated for pass 20 years, but I recently dusted off and rebuilt my skates and about to take my granddaughter on her fist skating lesson. I've been looking at different channels and picking up pointers on teaching beginners to moderate. I found your teaching skill very helpful and plan on video our first day out. Thank You.
