To all the folks on here making accusations about being misled, etc. Wind your necks in. They're not here to tell you the details about their business. They don't have to. If you don't like it, too bad. I'm happy they didn't. It kept the video from being long and boring. I wouldn't share my shop link either if I was doing the same thing, sharing valuable info for free. These women are here to share a strategy they use and as part of that discussion, they're showing some of the products that did well with that strategy. They don't have to do this. They could be out there doing really well and leaving us all in the dark. This video and the valuable info is available for free, which is something to be appreciated, not shot down.

Everything is possible as long as we have the right attitude. You are not going to succeed if you feel it is fake, if you refuse to learn or make statements like dropshipping is dead😂. What I dont understand is, it would only take one person in the Facebook group to know all the items can be purchased directly from AliExpress and post that to the group to ruin your business. So why does that never happen?
@eddieose34635 жыл бұрын
Because they know there's a lot of work that goes into contacting suppliers and monitoring the product's delivery to them. It's way easier to make an order and receive the product, while the dropshippers do the dirty work. Convenience is the consumer's weakness.

Hey Sagar, great question and welcome to Oberlo! 🚀 You want to make sure your customers are seeing the shipping time before they purchase, so there is no harm in adding it to multiple pages. They really look like twins, lol. Anyway, don't just copy what they do. The reason they can get away with doing things like screenshotting Amazon listings is because they have ORGANIC TRAFFIC in the form of a Facebook group. They're NOT advertising. People who run Facebook ads, at least with dropshipping, rely on IMPULSE BUYS. If you add the Amazon listing to your product page, you might end up alienating your customer, because chances are they weren't even *thinking* of checking it on Amazon. You just instilled that idea in them, and that could cost you a lot. Oberlo pumps out high quality content, but before you blindly apply it- ask yourself: does this apply to *me* ?

So they make up the difference up with shipping. I've asked many suppliers and they say the same thing, that shipping cost are out of their hands. Sounds like a fibb to me. Anyway my question is... This is a perfect question that nobody, including the host, had touch in any of the videos. @Oberlo5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Great question. Customers don't mind waiting for their products and it has been proven time and time again. There isn't a secret way to avoid long shipping times and we still see successful dropshipping businesses everyday. All you need to do as a merchant is make sure that your shipping information is very clear so the customer sees this information before they make their purchase. Being transparent with your customers, keeping them updated, and treating them like people will make the difference in a one time customer and a return one. Most customers will wait extra time for a product if they like the brand, think the product is worth it, and if they know what to expect in terms of how long they'll wait. It also helps to offer free shipping. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Jessica

Hi there! Great question. In general, if you recognize the brand, you ought to avoid selling those products. AliExpress is wrought with products that infringe on trademark and copyright. We (Oberlo) does our best to block products from being imported if they're known to infringe on trademarks, but it's a game of cat and mouse given that there are millions of products to filter. Best to use your discretion and find products with no brands or very generic brands that can be dropshipped. Hope that helps! 🙂 -Jasper

but how do you deal with issues such as your customers asking "hey how are they able to sell this for so cheap?" that is, what stops your customers from going to aliexpress and purchasing this on their own? I can see this being as issue with friends and family... they might think you are scamming them..

Retail is predicated on resellers sourcing products for less and selling them for a profit. Convenience, trust, branding all add value to the product. There's nothing stopping anyone from going to AliExpress if they know to do so. But not all customers want to purchase from AliExpress -- people buy from who they know, like and trust. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions, please let me know. 😊 -Jessica

I'm not a Dropshipper yet but considering it. i have a doubt: everyone knows Aliexpreess nowadays, right? Why costumer should by from a third part when they could directly to Aliexpress itself?

Great question! A lot of people don't know about AliExpress, and theres even people out there that do but they've never signed up for an account or made a purchase. The AliExpress website has so many products that it's impossible for someone to know every single product on the site. You want to find people who don't know about the website but also you want to brand your products. Make your potential customers trust your brand more than any other brand. It can also help if you create a community on social media with your followers. Post photos of people using your own products and that will make others want to be involved. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Jessica

Shipping has always had me stuck. What do you do about shipping?
@Oberlo5 жыл бұрын
Shipping takes a little longer than domestic shipping times. ePacket typically takes 12-25 days. The easiest way to save yourself from headaches down the road is to simply be as transparent as possible about lead times with your customers. Let your customers decide for themselves if they want to wait that long! Many don't mind at all. -Jessica 🙂

How do they deal with the fact that these multiple items per order coming from different vendors/packages/times?

Crystal Macklin dun matter. As long as they get their product and that price. Also if u pick diff colours nail polish u get them in one epacket, but if ur order consists of another product from a diff vender then ya u get two orders, unless they work with one vender
