I actually did a lot of these tricks before I could ollie because I couldn't ollie. Even when I did learn how to ollie it wasn't very high, so I continued doing railstands and finger flips throughout my tenure as a very amateur skater. And the walk the dog thing was something I would do when I was just standing around watching my friends do what I considered real tricks. I think maybe I could still do a lot of that stuff now 20 years later. I might just have to go out and get a board after this lockdown is over and the world goes back to normal. Please do more freestyle trick tutorials.

I’ll be your friend! Lol but on a serious note, sometime learning on your own can be a lot better than learning with friends. You don’t even need the skatepark! Skate on the streets or right on your driveway! Surprisingly, I learned how to skate just by watching skate films and watching the foot work. But idk, that’s just me.

MoonXlight I would say not to pick a Walmart board but if that’s all you got then go for it

You should look around online at least first to see if you can order a proper board for a reasonable price, but if that's going to be outrageously expensive then starting with a bad board is probably better than never getting a board at all. It should help you find out if you really want to stick with it and when it gets worn down you'll then know if it's worth shipping in something more serious.
