And obviously these are aimed at the most beginner of skateboarders but hey, everyone at any level can use some help when it comes to learning tricks in order to feel like you are progressing. The 5 true easiest tricks 1. The stand- stand on the board and keep your balance 2. The front foot- turn your front foot from the stand position so it’s straight 3. The gentle push- push off with your back foot gently to get rolling 4. The slightly more confident push- push off with your back a bit harder and with some confidence 5. The roll- find a slope that goes downhill at a ratio of 1:20 inches perform the stand at the top and roll down slowly

Thank you SOOOOO much for this video! I'm 37 and starting to skateboard again after a 23 year hiatus. I sucked in middle school, so it's not like I have much expertise to build on. I wiped out hard a week ago and am still healing because I'm an old man, so I'm really hesitant to try anything too risky because all I wanna do is skateboard and not have to take long breaks. I also have a baby and don't want injuries to make parenting harder than it is. But I still want to try stuff, even if it's not impressive. I know I'll feel great the first time I land on my board doing a flip over!

Night stalk3r So am I, I still can't complete a full oillie but I try to skate(roll around) as much as possible and get a feel for the area and the way the board moves around on pebbly surfaces and nice flat pavement. This will help you understand how to maneuver through terrain and make you a better skater. P.S , watch out for them damn pebbles.

These REALLY are good tricks for beginners. No joke. Thanks. The best way to learn anything is in "baby steps" (What about Bob?) and these baby steps are where I'm at..I only just learned tic-tacs, and I get up to about 3' high between two ramps continuously.. so these tricks are sweet baby steps to get me moving forward.
