Cinewhoops are becoming a lot more popular. 100% recommend looking into either building one, or buying a pre-built. It's such an amazing experience. Plus they are durable compared to the DJI flying glass pane.

The Mavic 2 Pro have a FPV setting. Any change you can help us use it? I can't afford to buy an FPV drone at this time. I love your channel, please keep the videos flowing. Cheers from America.

Been doing only racing and freestyle, but now more into cinematic FPV great tips! one think to mention is image stabilization, in FPV we use reelsteady, raw footage is to shaky.

From the moment I saw this drone I knew you need skills to achieve good cinematic shots, know how to handle the drone properly and cinematography knowledge. This guys definitely have great locations, I still hesitant if I should get this drone or the magic 2 pro. By the way great channel, this is the only channel that has give me real and good reviews about the video and flying experience of the drone.

EVJ is amazing. I am looking to get into FPV for cinematic video rather than acrobatics and look forward to watching more from your channel. This was a great little video. I'm only using a DJI Mini 2 but am honing my skills daily... I see the Mavic 3 Cine, the Mini 4 Pro and a Bob57 in my near future... Cheers.

Great content and yes the most important things about fpv video is like every other mean of shooting video.. Composition, lighting, etc.. And as always with new toys (am talking for us new to fpv with the dji Drone, not the hard-core fpv fliers out there) we always tend to us the new feature to some extreme degrees, and yeah we can do flip, roll, loops and so on but if it serves no purpose then it shouldn't be done.. And we'll all be guilty of that.. Just like I remember when zbrush came out back then, everyone was overdoing it because we could.. And the result was a "zbrush thing" instead of a finely crafted 3d piece.. Same will happen for fpv footage but that's how things are, the faster we get rid of this the sooner the footages will get better. Although one thing you didn't mention is how fpv can bring actual goodies to the Drone scene. No matter how much of a good flyer you are with Mavic or inspire, fpv can replicate things such as way a bird fly or a sky diver/base jumper moves through the air, and that's something great we're not used to see much yet and can bring some extras to a documentary shooting etc.. Anyway still practicing with mine and will try to keep the power loops and barrel roll to a minimum, even though it's fun!

ellis rocks, flying smooth is actually one of the more difficult things to do in fpv, similarly flying a race quad slowly through trees with something that can outrun a firework is not as easy as it looks. iwish more pilots would combine the ultra slow proxy with fast terrain flying, i try to do it but lack of skill and money make it difficult. ellis's madeira vids are jaw dropping. but check out gab707's forest flight,even though i know its a quad it still feels like cgi.

Great shots Stewart. Amazing pilot, I wondered would it work and be acceptable for a not too experienced person like me to shoot with a normal drone at say 30 fps then speed up in post to say 60 or 120 fps..that way I'm less likely to crash it.. like you I'm in Spain, Tenerife to be exact and because of the lockdown I haven't flown my down for almost a year now

One of the first clips have a clear missed opportunity there. It establishes an epic environment, then suddenly shifts to a subject playing that stage, the football players, now engage epic closeups of the ball and tell the story of that match.

@MauroTandoi3 жыл бұрын
Beautiful video and location, unfortunately with DJI FPV you will hardly get similar footage.
@orozcocris93 Жыл бұрын
was this something you yourself shot or was this someone else who flew to get these clips? the very first thing to do is fly a battery pack to get to know the environment and plan the footage. very hard to get cinematic footage on a one take unless it is in an already known environment and actors who already know their roles. know where to set your expos and what propellers to use, especially if you are flying a drone with ducts because it will dictate stabilization. are you ok with motion blur or do you want sharpness. a lot goes into fpv that most camera pilots would even think about
